About the NNN show. I had a friend there last year. She was allowed to have her phone in the balcony and texted me all night. Now, my ticket says no phones allowed. I don't know if this is a change from last year or just a standard OP for all their tickets. If we are allowed to keep our phones in the balcony, I, and I'm sure others, will be tweeting. Also, last year, I seem to remember a live stream. Has anyone seen that mentioned yet for this year?

I counted 23 people in those KBIG photos. So in an area populated with maybe 20 million, they gave away 23 tickets! >:(

For bobo: You can watch videos on YT even if you are not a subscriber of the channel. Maybe there is an option to hide the video from general public when uploading but I assume NNN/maximo would not use that. The number of subscribers is a sign of popularity for the channel and interest in the work uploader is doing - it could be compared to audience (for the channel's theme). If you have registered your own channel to YT you can subscribe other channels you like. Then when you log in with your password you will see a page with your subscriptions showing up. There it is easy to see what new material those channels have uploaded recently. Also it shows what they have 'liked'. On your own page you also have collection of your 'likes' (thumbs up) and of course the material you have uploaded. Registering also allows you to comment on videos you watch and send private messages to others commenting. The idea is just the same as in FB with friends and likes, only on YT there is no accepting needed from the channel owner. PS Do PM me if you want more details. Thank you belle. Kiitos kiitos. The word subscribe just made me wonder.

you think if i requested nicely Sauli would grow his hair to cover his head rather than make it a small model of the north pole and finland ;D Too funny!!!! I do love Sauli's hair but I know what you mean. And, yes, I am hankerin for some hand-holding pics. Only think better than some pics of Adam are some pics of Adam glowing down on Sauli. Question for the English as a second language fans: As I was listening to Cuckoo yesterday I was noticing how many expressions Adams uses in his songs: crazy train, on the loose, get down, get a load of me, and on and on. It must be very difficult, even for those who speak basic English, to fully understand some of his songs. Do you feel like we do when reading translations of Sauli (wishing we could understand the nuances of his language choices)? Is this of any consideration when trying to sell a song internationally? *And of course, I must include my apologize for being an ignorant Amercian who, without means to practice, has lost all her foreign language skills learned in school. So impressed with our international members--keep posting regardless of fear of mistakes! I can only speak for myself, but yes, sometimes understanding the lyrics of a song can be really difficult - especially if you only hear them and don't have the possibility to see them written down. First of all, the song moves on usually pretty quickly, and even though some lyrics might be repeated for example in a chorus, you hardly have time to process what you just heard when there are new words coming on. Of course it's the same when you are talking with another person, but in those situations you have the chance to ask him or her to repeat and maybe even explain what they said. When you are listening to a song, it's not possible - it just moves on. Another thing is that in the songs words are often shortened, pronounced differently from the conventional way, or otherwise changed. And to me it seems that often in songs there are expressions which are not used in everyday life... I don't know if this is true or if it's just my imagination, but that's the impression I've been getting during the years when I've been listening to songs with lyrics in English. That adds another challenge when you try to understand what exactly the singer is singing and trying to say. And of course, in many cases the singers sing the words very unclearly, mashed up or garbled, so it's really difficult to understand what they are singing, especially if you're not a native speaker of the language. Adam is a wonderful exception here of the other end - his articulation is very clear! I have to admit that even though I've been a fan of Queen for years and I love TSMGO and I have heard it hundreds of times, until I heard Adam sing it in the EMAs, I thought that the lyrics about the soul being painted continued "like the wings up on the sky"... :-[ Maybe I should wash my ears more often... :

I think I figured out what is at the root of my anxiety about the next single (besides not feeling it's hook, or enough Adam, or that it doesn't rank anywhere near the top of the polls I've seen, yada yada). Bottom line: I trust ADAM. Nobody else! It pains me to think that RCA could be making a decision that may goes against HIS instincts. This is his baby, and although they are the ones with the experience and investment, what they base their decision on is not necessarily what Adam would. It's like XFactor last season -- sure, the judges were "experts" in the field but it seemed so obvious that they only muddled it up. I shutter to think if Adam had been on that show instead of Idol. Anyway, that's it. I trust Adam--I am uncomfortable with others having a hand in it, who although are on his side, are still, NOT ADAM.
