But Michael Buble isn't working to be a pop star and targeting CHR stations. That's the difference. CHR radio has a very young demographic, which is why the age of Adam's fans is a real issue for some of these radio people. It may not be right or fair, but Adam's demographic (as he put it) is a factor in the politics of radio. Yeah i get that. but why don't these guys realize a lot of older folks listen to their station too? My old man tends to stop on the station playing a song featuring rap. And most of my old friends have ring tones by pink or flo rida etc. Not all of us are stuck in days gone by. My friend bought her first CD ever, she's 50, and it was Adele. It is just so weird, my 18 year old son and nephew listen to Classic Rock and hate new music. I don't think it's worth the energy. Walk that walk like you don't give a fuck, you got the right to turn it up and get down.

I heard BTIKM at my local grocery store today! First time. It was nice. Still haven't heard BTIKM locally, but I heard WWFM on the sound system in Macy's, followed by Adele and Katy Perry ... they have him playing with the A-listers ...

luzrnaz, I agree! I am in my mid-thirties with young kids, so we listen to pop music all the time. I think it is the fact that there are so many older fans. And this is the case with EVERYBODY off American Idol. I remember RCAED sharing that the busiest day on Daughtry's website was the day his twins were born---and Ed chalked it up to the demo of his fans.

Adam Lambert UK Glamberts Valentine Interview Uploaded by UKGlambert on Apr 4, 2012 Thanks, I'd just missed this one. And it's not all bad! "Apple cinnamon armpit" candle scent!! Love this man!!! I especially liked the intro. "The easiest way to identify you is simply hit this:" Then they played a few sec on WWFM, IIHY, BTIKM. So nice to get his new music put up there with the old.

It is just so weird, my 18 year old son and nephew listen to Classic Rock and hate new music. My 16 year old nephew feels the same way. There are only a few "sort of" current artists that he likes and they are basically the ones who CAN sing. He told me that he and his friends hate the auto-tuned crap. He said "If you can't really sing live, why would I want to listen to a computerized voice, knowing that you would either sound like shit or lip-sync at a concert." Needless to say, I love the kid.

I often wonder at what age one is supposed to hang it up. put on the polyester and start listening to ummm Glen Miller? I was just thinking, maybe this is one reason why country music has such a huge fan, it truly is ageless, right? Is there ageism in country? It is not like there are old country stations and young country stations, are there?
