After watching and listening over and over and over to those incredible Myfm vids... I am now firmly on #TeamNeverCloseOurEyesIt's a gorgeous, well-written song. Perfect for Adam's voice. Upbeat tempo but sung like a ballad... giving plenty of opportunity for Adam's vocals to soar. It's a song that gets better with repeated listenings and is so easy to sing along with... and has a universal sentiment that everyone can relate to-- no matter your age or gender.. I just love it. I love Trespassing, too..it's fun! It's catchy! But NCOE has imbedded itself into my brain and my heart. Agree completely. I LOVE NCOE. I think it will surely be a huge hit.

Just to clarify... what indications have we had about this "hitting" any more than any other song? Not to get argumentative, but I don't think this is an accurate statement. What do you mean? Hitting? Do you mean the statement that said that Cuckoo would be more like IIHY? If so, it is a strong CHR song. It will be a song that has to cross over to HAC. That's not necessarily bad. It's just that NCOE is one of those Bruno songs like Grenade, that could easily appeal to HAC and CHR at the same time. I thought this was a positive, since Adam already has so much goodwill built up at the top HAC stations and more than half on the smaller markets. Songs that appeal to multiple formats on the front end, do better on iTunes, which keeps the cycle going with adds and spins which equals to more sales... Well I think I'm quoting you... here is the sentence that I'm not quite going along with. "If it hits (and all indications are that it will) then it will pave the way for something more adventurous like Trespassing. But, NCOE is a great radio-friendly CHR song. And the Bruno connection won't hurt." I don't see that it has any indication that it will "hit" any more than the other songs in the running. Honestly, I'm not a fan of NCOE as a single for a few reasons... but we don't need to start a dead horse conversation. I think Adam sings it very well, I'm just not on board. I don't think it is a "sure fire hit" ETA: just for clarification on my side, I don't think the song will bomb or anything, I'm just not sure it is any more of a slam dunk than the other songs.

In a recent interview with BRAVO he revealed that he's addicted to make-up: 'When I was a kid I loved to dress up and get make-up on. At that time I'd secretly go up to the attic, unpack the Halloween-box and paint my face.' Now he doesn't have to hide this passion anymore because his fans love him just the way he is!

is Norton trying to be funny? Im joke sensitive tho its best not to be. Well, since GNorton is a comedian, of sorts, he was bound to say something snarky, and as "jokes" go, this one was right on. No gay, no make-up, just reference to hairspray to tame Adam's ever-changing but often sky-high hair. I think it's awesome that he commented at all. Nice to know Adam is on his radar - and hopefully on his show when the time comes. Pretty much how I read it; I didn't even see it as snark. He is after all a funny guy; this is just a comment to lighten up the response ;D.
