WEIRD. Got tired of waiting for the rest of Adam's (possible) interview with Ryan and turned to my local radio that carries Ryan'd Top 40. There was Adam! Only caught the last little bit but it was different. Definitely the end of an interview, and Ryan only played a part of the remix. It was a really great part, tho. Sounded great!

It's loooooong though. 5 mins 30? Is radio going to play it?

I have a hard time believing this will get alot of radio play. Maybe there is an edit but I don't recall there being alot of play for remixes. I dunno. No expert here. Haven't listened yet.. |

Something strange is happening. Didn't they just interrupt the Pink song? They NEVER play this many songs in a row during the morning show. I'm so confused. Looks like Adam is gone though.

Loved Adam talking and explaining the song, both from the acoustic side and the remix side.
The remix... as it started the vocals are very different in that they seemed to go down note rather that what I am use to. I kept thinking at the start the vocal is front and center but some of the notes are very different. Then the beat started to enter into it and as the song progressed the dance beat started to take hold. Some of the mixing seems typical pop radio so this may be a good sign for radio. Then noticed Alisan was on the backup vocals so thought about that.
All in all, DO like the remix and think it could fit with pop radio. I need to listen to it again because I was too busy comparing it to the other versions I am use to hearing, so not able to give it an unbiased first listen.
Also, found it interesting how they conversed and didn't use the word "gay" once - it was sort of humorous to see how they tapped danced around that. And Ryan seemed to be really impressed when he realized "Billboard" remixed it! That may be a good thing for Adam's remix to be linked to an up and coming producer from the way Ryan seemed so excited about it.
All in all, a big WIN! Now off to listen to the remix again:-) Oh yeah, and Adam saying the new album will have a ROCK edge - Happy Dance!!!!!!! :D
ETA: One thing about the length was at the end I started to think - Ok, this can end now but it went on for a while longer. So I wonder if the length would be a radio play issue as I see talk about this subject.
