Like I said, it could be from an alternate take, but it is not directly lifted from the FYE version on the CD. The first phrase is not only different melodically, but is slower and a couple of seconds longer. I don't know the capabilities of today's electronic equipment, but, I find it hard to believe that it can stretch out the phrase, change the notes (not just autotune them to the right pitch), and still be in the same key. And that beginning phrase doesn't have any extra layers. Just the lead vocal.
I can hear big differences in the vocal, but I know nothing about the limits of electronic doodads. It's entirely possible. My partner says he could do something along those lines with his dj decks and effects machine we have set up in our dining room, and they "only" cost a few thousand £. It wouldn't sound pretty, but it would change and elongate notes. I Have to agree with cassie here since its part of my job which is Audio and visual professional equipment and high end audio systems. You can do these things you say but not to the point you can change the notes and the melody where the vocals are so clear without music backgroung.Parts of the remix cannot be so different.I wish i could explain this much more but i cannot in english. |

Maybe I'm being dense, but how is Adam asking us to buy the remix now for to benefit the Trevor Project, when it's not even available till tomorrow night? Am I correct, or did something happen?

How would James' performance on Wed diminish Adam's performance on Thursday? not sure I get the connection. ITA, We really need to get it out of our heads that JD is in any way a threat to Adam. However good a singer he is he has a looooong way to go. He is not in Adam's league performance or vocal wise, not to mention he has yet to put out any music. Just think of what we have gone through with Adam. JD still has all that ahead of him and he does not have even a smidgen of Adam's personality either. Amen to what you said...  |
