Man, is Adam excited, or what? He definitely met his twota today. I'm glad the remix came out today instead of tomorrow. Can you imagine how hyped up he'd be while performing if this was all happening at the same time? This way he gets to calm down a little. I love that he is so excited and letting the fandom get a glimpse of that. He is always tooting others horns and glad he is tooting his own for a good cause. Not like he does it very often - if hardly at all. The remix is my favorite version, followed by the acoustic and the FYE was meh. I actually like the slow start and then builds from there. The only thing I think for the remix, that for me, it needs to end by the 4 minute mark. I start tuning out after that and it starts to seem too long. I hope we get a radio edit and it gets played there. I have hopes since Adam wants fans to ask for radio play :D

OHMYGOD - I LOVE the new "Aftermath"! The song still makes me want to cry (like the acoustic does) because it is still so beautifully heartfelt and hopeful, but this version also makes me want to dance, run as fast as I can, stomp, jump up and down, and burst. OMG, this is exactly how I feel. I heard the debut this morning but had to dash off to work. I couldn't wait to get home and play it full blast. I found myself immediately drawn in with the gorgeous voice first. Then, I began to literally jump and dance joyously in a shamanic way if that makes sense. And, then I suddenly burst into tears at "all you feel is love, love." It was my healing song all summer, and I'm so excited to enjoy it in a new way to celebrate how far I've come. But I also very much feel Adam and his healing and joy and also universal healing and joy. Okay, I'm rambling, but I feel so giddy, and I'm not going edit.

Me too, I have been gullible again... I am such a sucker... And this is one reason I haven't joined Twitter. I would be waaay worse than you! Is Diddy taped? Does no one else have the guts to perform live?? Not on the same show as Adam~

It's amazing how much attention Adam is getting for this, or does it only seem like that in the Idol bubble? I guess it is mostly in the bubble. Still, it is all good!

You'll have to confiscate my fan club card, too. I didn't remember that he said he listened to "Eclipse" when he broke up with Brad. Adam has never, to my knowledge, ever mentioned Brad specifically as being the man he was in love with. I think we assume that because of the pictures of them together looking fabulous and in love and because of his dedication in the liner notes of the album. Adam said the song made him cry, he didn't say why or whom it reminded him of. No need to turn in your fantard card IMO. ;D I think I remember him saying that it reminded him of a former relationship without specifying who... It is a really sad song, and I tear up every time I listen to it.

In a definite minority here of not being blown away by Aftermath Remix. No reflection on Adam really - since it was done by Billboard. Thought it got off to a very slow start, would have appreciated stronger hook and melody. I agree a B+ effort. Glad so many on this site are immediate huge fans of it and really, really hope it does well. Love AFL and can't wait for his performance tomorrow night. Hoping for new Skingraft (or Blonds) jacket and an extra duet with S. Tyler (JoLo got a plug on the show, why not Aerosmith with Lambert? - that could be great television! I will join you in the minority. Loved that the vocals were front and center but I just didn't get captivated - not the way I did by the acoustic version.
