If the Olympics thing actually happens, I've had a little side wish since FYE came out. Please, please can one of the US teams pick SFW as their "theme" song? You know, so that every time we see those athletes we get to hear Adam sing the perfect stadium song. That's my vid! Ahhhh the memories.  |

At the Boise GNT concert I was in the 3rd row. The venue put fold up chairs in the orcestra pit...which put us standing at the stage area. As much as I will treasure those memories, I did focus 90% of my time on Adam. I swore if I got to GNT I would sit further back and ENJOY the SHOW. (dancers, lighting band members, the visual etc. Lucky those who were able to go to more than a show or two as each experience would have provided different memories for you. So how selfish am I ... mega ....VIP seating one concert and a good seat another night!!! Now we are back to planning mode for London. At least I will not need my newly purchased...never been used $12.00...1.8 lb folding camp stool to rest my butt on. And my gum boots will not be in my suitcase. Just in case they make the venue for the 5,000 capacity - will that camp stool fit in a carry on suitcase? ;D Best case scenario if they pull the seats out.... is they have a VIP standing area so folks can cruise in at the last minute. Sonsisphere replied there were several humdred VIP tickets sold for Saturday, so even VIP may not be easy for the two London concerts. Hopefully Atopers can grab at least one night. |

Yes cassie. I read it that way. Still trying to imagine what song they would join together to sing. Under Pressure? :D Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me? I can see this as a end-of-concert phone waving moment with lots of Queen-esque riffs and Elton and Adam singing harmony. Chills. And I don't even like that song all that much! |

....so I guess the UK album release is scheduled to take advantage of all the press these Adam and Queen concerts will generate....brilliant! I guess so, still seems a bit silly to me though. I mean it's not like "Adam Lambert with Queen review!! Also Adam's album came out last week" would generate more sales than "Adam Lambert with Queen review! Also Adam's album came out in May". Well July might be better for album release, if he gets a lot of press for the Queen gig, maybe moreso then just him alone. And with more press, and more media, (hopefully high charting single) will hopefully equal more of a chance of high debut week. |

Love everything about it! :D From the very first time I heard it, I was doing the "Queen, we will rock you" stomp. Feel those bleachers shaking? Since I'm wishing big here, how about this? The concert with Elton will have proceeds donated to Elton's Aids Foundation. They have a few special "guest" - Bowie, ahem - stars. AND THEY MAKE A PROFESSIONAL DVD for sale to the public so they can raise more money for the charity. ANYBODY WITH ME? |
