I kind of have to disagree here because many, many people said the same thing about WWFM, that he sounded EXACTLY like Pink. Well it didn't stop that from being a hit and the Pink connection was a big sell with radio, DJ's were constantly making a big deal out of it. So if it works the same way this time around and radio jumps all over it because it's a Bruno Mars song then I don't see how that can be considered a problem. If that's what it takes for radio to finally accept him then fine. We have plenty of ADAM songs on the album. But... but... The arrangements were identical, but ADAM DIDN'T SOUND EXACTLY LIKE PINK. DNW Adam's voice to be turned into Bruno's voice!!! And I'm someone who LIKES Bruno!!   Please, please, think about what you're saying. Adam's voice could NEVER be turned into Bruno's... it just isn't possible. Adam is Adam and the song will be Adam's, just as he made WWFM his own. |

I don't think he sounded exactly like Pink either but it was said over and over again by many, many people so just because right now we have ONE report of someone who says he sounds EXACTLY like Bruno doesn't mean he really does. To THAT person he may sound like Bruno but I can see Adam sounding like Pink a hell of lot easier than I can imagine Adam sounding like Bruno. Until you hear it yourself why panic. But even if you think he DOES sound like Bruno it's still not going to hurt the chances of the song being a hit or take away from Adam's success with it any more than Adam supposedly sounding like Pink got in the way of WWFM being a huge hit for Adam and getting him a Grammy nomination. It's not the end of the world as we know it, I feel fine. Oops, REM sneaking in there. |
