All I know is that the show has said several times now about "New Single" performance when talking about Adam and the NNN show. So if not a reality, some will have that perception for a little bit that this is the new one... They've said it 4 times now..."new single"... I dunno...maybe they just mean "a new song".....did our ATOP peeps hear this announcer live or has this been edited in for tonight's broadcast??

I'm home from work, and can post now.
I'm sorry if I was gloomy/doomy this morning. But I was just shocked to hear Larry Flick announce Adam's new single, and then play NCOE, mainly because it hadn't (and hasn't) been formally released to radio (no announcements by RCA or Adam). In truth, i expected this to be the single but it just seemed to me that RCA was just throwing it out there. Now that I am calmer I can say that Larry is his own program director, he plays what he wants, and that can be good. Frequently, when he likes an album, he will play every song, not just the designated single. So I hope he likes TRESPASSING, and plays more than one song. I also hope that no one attacked Larry on twitter, because Adam really could use his support.
About Adam "sounding like" Bruno Mars, what I meant is that, to me anyway, it sounded like Adam was singing mostly in his upper register.

They are not saying single -- the NNN Awards announcer says "his brand new song".

TRESPASSING has been my favorite from Day #1 (my Randy Jackson imitation,) but whatever song they release is fine - HOWEVER, I want him to see a song with ATTITUDE on American Idol when Adam performs. No ballads, no playing it safe, just IN YOUR FACE, I'm Adam Fucking Lambert and as much as I appreciate all this show has done for me, I am SOOOOOOOOOO far removed from it now. Adam and Queen - Yeah!!!!!!
That's why I have such a hard time voting on that best all time Idol contest. Who cares? We stan an international super star now, not an American Idol alum. Sorry, but that's how I feel.

You should post what you want and express your thoughts. One reason I left AO is their groupthink mentality. Everything had to be puppies and rainbows. If you disagreed some how you were a bad fan. I don't think it like that here.
