umm, my weigh in here on the single may not matter much, but just for the sake of throwing in another voice here goes.
What top 40 radio does or does not do with Adam will not really affect what Adam does or does not do as an artist. The man is blessed with incredible talent and an incredible sense of who he is. He is such a chameleon while being true to himself, a rare person in the entertainment business who has good values and carries love and physical health, family and friends in high regard. I was really impressed when the whole BfM things went down and Adam made one small tweet about the issue and then let the lawyers handle it. No bullshit rumors or public drama about his relationship with Monte. That was cool. His ability to maintain his integrity under stress garners trust from industry people. Adam will keep making music as long as he is breathing. His fans, who LOVE him endlessly will keep buying and voting and tweeting and spending money to hear him, see him. If he does not have a #1 single in top 40 off this album, it does not matter. He will make another album. and another. and another. He will keep singing for live audiences.
Every song I have heard so far, except for BTIKM, I have loved instantly. I only loved BTIKM after i heard a really excellent acoustic version and it is still not my favorite. It does not matter. He has the ability to please many while pleasing himself and gaining great personal satisfaction from his life. THIS is what matters to me because i love him for who he is as much as what he sings. He is shining beacon of hope to the gay community who is finally, totally, embracing him and his music. May his light continue to shine in all the dark places. And may his background singers be a permanent part of his band! Love to you all.
And yeah, RCA, drop the next single already.

She can sing but she is far from Adam in terms of charm and intelligence. I watched an interview with her on youtube, and it was very painful. I used to be a singer in my youth, and now I am looking for something more than the good voice in my fav artists.  She was warm and engaging with her fans. One of the most "fan centric" concerts I have ever seen. Her stage prsence was outstanding! Definitely more than a great voice! She can move and it seems she has some jazz and soul background. Extremely versatile! I go to at least 12 concerts a year and am not easy to impress. She was fabulous! Jessie J is one of my top favourite female singers. She seems to be down-to-earth and regarding her voice, she is a class act. I heard that she graduated from the same school as Adele and Amy Winehouse in 2006. No wonder, she is such a great singer. |

Off topic but just want to say that if any of you have the chance to go see Jessie J in person, run to buy your tickets!! Amazing show last night. She may be the UK, female version of Adam! ITA. !! You lucky woman! I haven't watched her live , but I saw live performances of her on YT and I think she's amazing. AMAZING! Way before Adam talked about her I was amazed by her SNL performance on "Mama knows best" Just like Adam, my eyes were focused only on her, I couldn't see anyone else on the stage. |

This was a small venue and she was "dressed down." Her hair was pulled completely back, no bangs! I swear I almost didn't think it was her! Without those severe Cleopatra bangs, she is so cute! She had on a Mario Brothers T-shirt with short, short, short jeans shorts and red short platform boots. I want to see her in a large venue now, with all the bells and whistles! |

Does anyone ever release two singles at the same time to two different station formats? I was wondering if they would release TP or Cuckoo internationally and NCOE in the US? Still wondering... |
