1. Adam isn't doing an big tour with them 2. Adam toured both with Idol and on his own quite successfully without missing one show 3. Adam has extensive experience in touring via his theater work. Anyone know anything about Paul Rodgers personality. Whenever I read something about him he gives me whiffs of Adam Levine. (not a compliment)  |

I really do wonder what the hold-up is with the release (or at least the announcement) of the next single. I thought one of the reasons RCA chose to delay the album drop was because they didn't have a single in good position to help sales. But at this point, they are cutting it REALLY close for a second single to get enough radio traction to make a difference.
I don't the timing at all. A little urgency is needed at this point.

I doubt that Paul Rodgers meant anything bad. He probably knows nothing about Adam's background or amazing talent. Especially if he did not see the EMA's. I take his remark as something he would say to or about any relative newcomer who is not at superstar status yet. Bet he'll be happily surprised.

Thanks for bringing this here! I sometimes wonder when I see comments like this(and not that it is a negative comment at all), if they actually have even seen the MTVEMA performance. He totally owned and killed that shit. Maybe I am to closely attached in it all to look beyond what I perceive as epic greatness. ITA! And even if you weren't too close attached in it, it WAS epic greatness! I have to say that ALL of my daughter's friends , 26 years old, know about my Adam obsession , I'm not hiding, and even though they agree that he has a good voice they didn't think he was something really special. They are open minded though. Well , after I showed them on the big screen the EMA performance they were all standing there with their mouths open and they asked me to show them ALL of his YT vids from Idol and with each performance they were like "More ! More! Wooo!! " He REALLY belts out these vocals!! Amazing! One of a kind! "First time I see someone do justice to Queen! " 8-) |

I don't really see that the release of the new single is a hold up. Up until a few days ago, BTIKM was still climbing on HAC. It is still holding it's own. If we don't have anything new by next week, I would consider that a hold up, but for right now I am Zen about the timing. I think there are 4 Pop stations that will add immediately due to their Spring concerts. As log as it gets 3-4 weeks on radio before Idol and the album drop, I think it is OK. Adam's fans got the first week of album sales covered and probably even week 2. After that, it's up to the casual fans and new fans to take over!

Well if RCA can't decide which single,put all 4 of them out or at least two contenders . We already heard the snippets.. one will float to the top quick enough. The top two radio plays then get the new videos.. sound crazy.. : |

It's likely that Paul knows very little about Adam. Adam did not have much exposure in UK, and I doubt if he has discussed him with Brian and Roger. He may not even be aware that Adam has any touring experience. |
