I'm sooo mad at myself on that quiz for missing Easy Freaking Rider! I was going too fast, saw "cinema" and "Donnie Darko" and clicked. ARGH! Is Gelly the only one who got a certificate?

I keep getting offers to renew my subscription to GQ. They are practically giving it to me for nothing. But after some of the slime they've thrown at Adam, i keep tearing up the offers.
I still get EW. For now. What burns me up is that the editors of EW are gay, and I expect better from them in their treatment of Adam. I do have to say that I like their coverage of film and TV much more than their coverage of music, which tends to be totally pretentious.

I LOVE YOU, a Burrito who prefers wine to Heh heh. To be perfectly honest, I actually prefer margaritas to wine but popping a cork is a lot easier than crushing ice, salting the rim and mixing Jose Cuervo, triple sec, Grand Marnier, and lime juice. Being lazy is one of my many faults. Needless to say, I'll never take up juicing. Try "Don Pedro" & COKE!

I've printed out mine - my '100 out of 100' - - soooo proud to say! Wondering where to hang it. Hmmm . . . how about right over the piano, next to the wedding portrait??? ;D

Trespassing, to me, is an anthem for anyone and everyone who has been shunned, excluded, told they are not welcome, told they must conform to be acceptable, told how they must dress, look, think and act. An anthem for anyone who has felt alienated, an outsider, misunderstood. And what teenager or young adult has NOT felt that way at times? If they listen to the words, I think they will love the song.
For Adam it may be about being gay, but I think it is also about being different, being "too good" for pop, being too theatrical, being a free spirit, and refusing to fit into anyone's boxes.
As a child of the 60s, the Beatles, Woodstock, hippies, civil rights, and protests of the Vietnam War, Trespassing really resonates with me. Especially the way that Adam performed it at the NNNAs.

I got 90 out of 100 on the "how well do you know Adam" quiz because I didn't know Mitchel was spelled with one l and because I accidently misspelled for as fir on for your entertainment so I'm giving myself the 100 anyway ;D As for who else made the list of EW 30 greatest artists RIGHT NOW: 1. Adele 2. Taylor Swift 3. Drake 4. Carrie Underwood 5. Katy Perry 6. Jack White 7. the black keys 8. nicki minaj 9. mumford & sons 10. Rihanna 11. Bruno Mars 12. Foo Fighters 13. Kanye west 14. Jay-Z 15. The Civil Wars 16. Asap Rocky ?? 17. Finoa Apple (which I don't get because she hasn't been relevant in years) 18. Kelly Clarkson 19. Jake owen ?? 20. Fun 21. Azella banks ??? 22. Coldplay 23. Bruce Springsteen (I guess this is due to his legend status cuz I haven't heard any new music from him in a long time) 24. Lady Gaga 25. Florence & the Machine 26. Beyonce 27. Goyte 28. Calvin Harris 29. Kimbra ??? 30. Beach House ???? Re: Bruce Springsteen, he's not just a legacy act. He has released 6 albums of new music in the last 10 years. His latest, Wrecking Ball, debuted at #1 on the Billboard album chart earlier this year. He has a very loyal fan base and is still going strong at the age of 60. Springsteen has the type of career that I wish for Adam: longevity, respect as both a performer and a songwriter, and a large loyal fan base. May Adam achieve the same level of success (fingers crossed!).

This isn't going to be a popular perspective... I see no reason for gay editors or journalists or anyone else to give Adam any more due than he would get or not get if he were not gay. Gay people don't automatically support or like an artist because they are also gay any more than I like or support an artist who happens to also have two x chromosomes.
Likewise I like and dislike many male, gay, straight, black, white, curly haired, short, bald, tall people. Not because they are any of those things, but because of who they are and what they do. That's the point of equality - in the end equity is about being treated the same (and ok that is a land called utopia where pollyanna lives).
Stepping down off my soapbox.

That's the same one (and the only one) I missed, and for the same reason. Dang it, I hate getting less than 100% on anything. >:( After the last 3 years, we all pretty much qualify for PhDs in Lambert Studies...
