Well, I agree but I don't think anyone is saying to wear grubby street clothes to the concert. Just that dressing in sparkles/glitter for GNT or yellow and black, ie. matching Adam and the band, if that is not your usual thing, strikes some of us as kind of odd. I mean, I often go to concerts, theater etc... and I always dress nicely. Usually though, I don't try to match the performers I'm there to see. I saw so many outrageous, hilarious, creative outfits at the GNT shows I attended that I often entered the venue with my mouth hanging open. I would never have the nerve to wear what some of the other women my age or close to it were wearing, but my feeling is "more power to you." They were all laughing and carrying on like (well-behaved) teenagers and having a great time. Once the lights go down, the lunacy can commence whether looking like a bumble bee or a suburban mom. That's why I love us. Well, I did say it was harmless in my previous post . Odd (to me) but harmless. So, have at it all those who are drawn to the bumblebee

Timidly raising hand as a voracious fanfic reader, in many fandoms, since the birth of the internet. Some literary, some based on tv shows, and yes some based on real celebrities. The sheer talent out there, if you know where to look, is staggering. I realize no one will believe me but I'm not really interested in the graphic descriptions of sex, gay or straight, RPS or character (no matter how well written. I'd rather read " and then they had mind blowing sex" than actually read the mechanics of it. I'm a bit of a prude, I guess! ) I really do read for the quality of writing, the entertaining characterizations, the dialogue, the plot, the sheer elegance of some writers. And yes, 99% of ALL fanfic out there is utter crap. Tip: if you want to dip your toe into the literary genre known as fanfic...DO NOT start at fanfic dot net. I agree with whomever said it's quantity over quality. I feel like I just outed myself. Lol and part of what I love is that unlike most mass-market romance if you are interested and choose carefully you can find entertaining and believable characterizations, great dialogue, compelling plot, and sheer elegance of writing, along with blistering hot sex in the same story. ;D Yup, you do have to choose carefully! But some of the fic I read in some fandoms is so much better written than the mass market dross on the best seller list; it's mind-blowing. I'm gonna crawl back under my rock now.

Could not agree more! I think he has a problem working with singers who can sing and don't need a sledgehammer :( Then why did Adam want to work with him? I think Adam loves all those electro-sledgehammer type sounds and songs, although he doesn't need any of it! :-/

Fans drove RCA Ed crazy. Let's hope they don't do the same to Shoshanna. *sigh.entitlement.much.* :-/ RCA Ed was kind of a jerk. >:( He was the same to Daughtry and Cook fans. Shoshanna is a professional and not some flunkie assigned to patrol artists fanboards. I bet she is used to intense fanbases. RCA Ed was probably generally pissed at his job assignment and decided to take it out on the "lowly ignorant fans". He had a general disdain for Idol fans and woman of a certain age. I'm glad he has moved on! RCAEd was never assigned to patrol fanboards. He was Director of Online Marketing or even VP (not sure on his final title at the time, but it sure wasn't 'flunkie') and as such everything that was going on on fanboards was somewhere under him. For the most part it was a resource drain for him and his rather short staffed team. He initially allowed the fan board just run themselves and for many of the other fan boards under his care that seems to work fine. But on AO the trolls were having a field day. AO was the most active fan board besides Beyonce at that time. When trolls completely took over the fan board and Sony was on the brink of risking lawsuits from the insults that were happening on there, he finally stepped in with a few resources, cleaned things up, but those resources also destroyed the existing online culture in the process. The present AO is a mere ghost of its former past. While RCAEd was sometimes gruff in his style, he was in principle helpful and supportive to the extent possible. But he also kept his distance, because he could not get involved with every fan who wanted his personal attention. I wish in the US we had a contact person like RCAEd was or like Soshanna is for the UK. She has so far handled this Trespassing phase pretty well, but her track record on FYE is more than shaky. And the true tests on how Trespassing will be placed are still ahead for her. So, we will see what she can do. Why did she miss so much during FYE? Perhaps she just did not really 'get' Adam until she started working with him a bit more closely and therefore did not place him correctly the first time around. That is at least my best guess. Obviously she is now also facing a somewhat more receptive market than the first time, even though the BBC test is still outstanding. People in the UK may have ignored an AI alum the first time around in the UK, but a pop singer with two albums, a world wide tour, a Grammy nomination, who is singing with Queen, singing with Elton John and who likely has some involvement via Queen with the Olympic Games and maybe (if I may dream for a moment) even with the next James Bond movie is not quite so easily ignored. I see all this more as an achievement of Adam, rather than Soshanna though. I am just glad that so far she has not messed up.

I don't know if this isn't the right place to discuss about this but I try: How many of you read regularly fan fiction stories, especially about A & S? "Dirty" ones? Everything is so new to me in the world of Adam, because I just found them few days ago!!!! And I like them... well, most of them : I read a lot of fan fiction. Adam's is my (sorry, I must count my fandoms - LOTR, Keanu Reeves, X Files, Buffy, X Man, Supernatural, Harry Potter, Formula One, Tennis, CSI) 10 fandom and fan fiction is for me just another form of fans creativity. Like graphics, drawnings, paintings, songs, videos, poetry. But I must say that Adam's is first fandom I'm in where fan fictions generate problems. I think that is Adommy cray issue. People needs to remember that fan fiction is fiction. Like "Lord of the rings" or Harry Potter books. The problem begins when you start believing that elves and dwarfs exist in your neighbourhood and Hogwart is the best school for your kid. Adam/Sauli/Tommy/Kris from fan fictions are not Adam/Sauli/Tommy/Kris that exist in real life. What? It's not real????? I've always boycotted stories where Adam is sleeping with someone outside the (don't judge me) Glamily. No Gerard Leto. No Bill Kaulitz. Can't remember who else. I think Adam should either sleep with Tommy, Kris, Sauli or stay celibate. By the way, I didn't know Adam could be a Vampire OR a Werewolf until I read those stories. Two college degrees and I have learned more from fan fiction in the last 4 months than 6 years of college. Nothing else to say on the subject except to encourage those who write them to keep their noses to the grindstone and not make you wait 3 or 4 weeks for the next installment on the good ones. You know who you are.

OK then......... Not Max Martin.... and I thought Adam was asked about Max Martin and he said NO!

Q3 - Max Martin is on board. I am now a happy camper!!! re: Dr Luke - he is or is going to go down as a legendary producer. He is bound to eventually get one of these Adam tracks right. Let's hope it is NCOE! The persons note about Max still could be correct. Benny and Max did Taio Cruze's Dynamite together!
