1. kathleenpf, I am right there with ya!  I never meant to imply that I wouldn't "dress-up" to see Adam. I just don't choose to "dress-up" in a way that seems more like a costume to me. Adam has taught me to break free, as well, and take more style risks. And yes, I own a Terrible Towel but somehow showing support of a team is very different than showing support of Adam's message of loving whoever the hell you are. I support how ever people choose to dress to his concerts--glitter, yellow stripes, whatever. In fact, being non-judgmental on how people express themselves through style is one of the biggest changes Adam has made in me. 2. So, if there is all that quality fanfiction out there, how does one "choose wisely"? About 6 months ago I clicked on my tweeter feed link and found myself reading a fanfic A/S...was horribly written...simple, 5 grade level sentences... (like my post right now ;D)...I backed out before "flipping the page"... gave me a very sour taste and I never looked into fanfic again... Reading the discussion today made me curious... Can anyone PM me with a link to a site/forum with WELL WRITTEN Adam fanfic? tx  |

What? Third post for the thread? I'm on a mission  And it all while writing script, guess what's suffering more ;D I was a bit cautious to talk about fanfiction before, I know a lot of people who doesn't like it or doesn't get it at all (majority of my RL friends for once). I personally not only like to read it - I write it for several years in six or seven different fandoms and among other things it improved my English in a big way : And with that, ::waving frantically::, big hi to nonchallance, irish1139, cattibrie   You are so right about fan fiction and improvement in language skills. Without fan ficton I would never be here on Adamtopia. |
