NCOE is a great choice -- and the Bruno connection is nothing but great for Adam. I wonder when we will get to here the final recording? Maybe Friday morning early. In my previous post, I was curious about how Adam would debut the single on radio. Q3, what do you think? "Secrest" or "Z100"? thanks!

Well, I wanted Adam to take us to the dance floor which is what he said he would do with the next song. I thought it would be Cuckoo. NCOE is my least favorite of the four snippets. I wouldn't complain on twitter or anywhere like some are because we need to support this song, not be negative about it. I'm disappointed but, on the bright side, I wasn't crazy about WWFM either so maybe that means NCOE will be a hit too. ;D What kind of video can he do with this song though? It's a love song like BTIKM and once again he'll have to make it about something else. Ugh!! :( It can totally be interpreted as a party song, IMO. Yeah, I never took it as a love song at all--to me it's a dance-all-night song. Which is why it gets the "rave-song" label, to answer Adamfanem's question from earlier. (I hesitated to define "rave," Adamfanem, because there are many people--pretty much anyone--better placed to do so than I, but to put it simply, raves are huge, all-night, frequently drug-fueled electronic dance parties popular in Europe and also here, which often involve driving beats and freeflowing, un-choreographed dancing. They tended to involve lots of atmospheric tricks like lazers and disco-sticks and smoke machines, etc. Picture the bouncing with lasers smilies. There are many many different kinds of rave music, but the sort of trancey, dance-all-night quality to NCOE definitely has a rave feeling to it.) I imagine the NCOE video will have lots of hot sweaty bodies moving to the beat in a darkened space, probably in elaborate states of undress, and we won't miss the love interest at all ;D) One of the ways in which I am making my peace with this single not being Adam-penned is that it definitely speaks to his personal experiences. I suspect Adam spent many nights in his twenties dancing to driving electronic music, with a full heart and an empty mind, forgetting himself in a room tight with bodies, and feeling at once that the clock had frozen on some magical, expansive hour for him and his forever-young friends to transform into whatever they wanted, and yet also that the hours were rushing by too fast to grasp. This maybe be written by Bruno, but for me it has a lot of Adam in it (club-kid-Adam). Far more, for me, than BTIKM.

popcrush.com/adam-lambert-never-close-our-eyes-artwork/ADAM LAMBERT REVEALS ARTWORK FOR SECOND ‘TRESPASSING SINGLE Glambert alert! Adam Lambert revealed that the second single from his new album ‘Trespassing’ will be ‘Never Close Our Eyes.’ The black-clad, eyeliner-loving singer also shared the artwork, which is drenched in black and yellow tones, via Twitter. The always stylish singer looks typically and futuristically fashionable, with his collar up and a pair of round sunglasses. His signature inky black coif is spiky and effortlessly bedheaded. He gives off a bit of a David Bowie / nu wave look with this shot, too.Few male pop stars are as stylish as Lambert and if his singing career didn’t work out (which is a long shot, since he’s got a set of pipes on him), he could easily find work as a stylist in Hollywood simply because he looks so friggin’ good all of the time.

I would love to see this song featured on both Elvis Duran's Show (Z100 + syndicated) and on Ryan's Show (KIIS + syndicated). Friday morning is the most usually time. But when has Adam been normal? As far as I know, there are no hints about what they are doing. We do not even have an RCA announcement yet. So just guesses.

I still am totally taken back by people not seeing NCOE as a dance song. That is all I have ever thought of it being, in fact it is almost a rave type song ??? Can't wait to hear the new amped up version and then the remixes are gonna be nuts. yes, I heard the snip as a dance song... and didn't get why others called it slow and boring and even midtempo. There's a driving beat.. i hopped when I heard it! I can't wait to hear the finished track!!!! Well, my son thinks it is dancey, and he makes dance music, so I have to go with that, lol.

This song is going to piggy back on Bruno's popularity....If it helps Adam win over the Bruno fans, and the radio program directors, we've got to look at it as a great collaboration.....and a VERY SMART move. ITA, Durberville..
