I'm headed home now. I feel like I did after the AMA's. I just checked all the comments from the East coast - most of them said TRAIN WRECK so I didn't even watch. I couldn't sleep that night. Am I wrong? If you weren't a fan, what would you have thought? I feel the same way, still haven't listened to the song yet, |

OK, Adam got a little squeeky. He does that sometimes when he's nervous or pumped up. It was not his best performance. But I love him and it was still very good, especially by the end. Maybe he was a little nervous performing in front of Steven? I thought he sounded perfect and didn't seem nervous at all..I guess we all see and hear differently 8toinfinity..where did you read he was a train wreck? I've been following hundreds of twitter posts all night and haven't read one negative remark |

I'm completely ticked off that no one said the song was for sale and where to buy itAm I being irrational? I think it's because they spent it on the silly "Dougie" dance banter. |

Thanks for all the details everyone! I'm feeling upset about Steven Tyler, irrational though it is - and also bummed that he didn't get to promote his live CD/DVD and the Billboard download for charity. I'm one of the zen folks here today, I guess, but I'm not in a hurry to be upset with ST. We heard one person repeat one sentence they heard, we have no idea what else happened. And my guess is he knows Diddy, which is part of the reason for the SO. Ryan is an idiot and ate in to the time Adam could have used to tell people where to find the Aftermath download. But he is fabulous and people loved him and he looked incredible and his heart is full. I got nothing to fret about. |

OT but they barely used the boot song. Seems like it was more prominent in the past seasons. I really like David Cook (potentially anyway- his music hasn't moved me yet but seems like a cool guy - benefit of doubt) but I think there's something a little embarrassing about doing a meh cover of a slightly cheesy song that's already been covered better. ~And shout out to Team #alittleraspisfreshandhot:) |

The promo was soft but there. The lack of a direct sales message is because it was not available on iTunes and they own Idol -- and pay $30 million a year for their exclusive.But, Adam and Ryan talked about the Dance Mix version and Adam said it was being sold to benefit the Trever Project and mentioned the NoH8 Campaign. (He just could not say were to buy it.) But outside of Idol it is in a lot of places -- it is posted on all kinds of Idol and LGBT friendly sites -- MJ for example has a thread for it. There will be news pick up and it will sell. They will move it to iTunes at some point. |

It was more subdued than some performances but was in keeping with the song. Excellent for mainstream idol audiences. I think the number one complaint is that they didn't give the info about where to buy the remix. That has nothing to do against his singing. |

Omg maine, is that a tear in his eyes or bright lights. I'm overwhelmed by his emotion-pierces through his eyes and voice. Tyler looked shocked like "This guy is so f*cking good- intimidation?, who knows, but can't get better then Adam when it comes to singing live-most of them lip sync (especially Jlo-don't hate her, just being truthful) sorry I'm rambling-still exited (Thanks for Atopia ya'll) |
