They haven't announced when they are going for adds in US and Canada. TOTAL GUESS -- they could go for adds on 5/1/12 -- [but that would assume this was a NORMAL release and NOTHING about BTIKM was NORMAL. So why change now?] We do not even know when it will officially be on sale in most countries. Right now I am jealous of Carrie Underwood fans who know the album release date, single add date, track list, etc. All the normal stuff.......  OK I would be totally bored as a Carrie fan!! But I want to hear NCOE on the radio!!! Since 5 radio stations need to promote Adam for their Spring concerts, I am going to be optimistic that they will add before an official date. BTIKM had 19 adds before it's HAC date and 26 before it's CHR date! So hoping that we're going to see adds for NCOE next week?? |

Just a quick hit and run here but did anyone else notice that they have the bastard listed as Genre: pop and Trespassing as Genre: alternative!!! what is that??? I do not know what you were looking at but most retail outlets have Trespassing in Pop. Amazon: Pop, Subgenre: Adult Alternative Also in two other genres --- Alternative Rock and Rock These seem like the right classifications to me. |

I have a question for those who have met Adam. In the vids I notice that in many instances he really seems to be, whats the word, focusing or concentrating on what the person speaking to him is saying and giving out (energy wise). When you met him did that happen and did it feel comfortable or did it feel too "intense" or overfocusing or in any other way uncomfortable? I've met Adam once in a M&G, and also seen him in some post-concert barricade signing situations. Yes, he is very focused on the individual person he's interacting with, but I wouldn't call it intense, exactly. More like attentive and engaged and very in-the-moment. Someone earlier said he was focused on the individual but also aware of everything going on in the whole environment and that's exactly right also. What struck me most when I was in his actual presence was that Adam has a very calm, gentle yet strong energy. It's really hard to put into words but I've only met a couple other people in my life who've had that same energy. One was my 70+ year-old sensei when I took Aikido classes years ago. This man was maybe 5'4" high, but he could bring you to the ground with a turn of his wrist and exuded calmness and quiet gentleness. Sorry for going all Northern-Cal-hippie, but Adam brings out that side of me |
