www.fansshare.com/news/adam-lambert-reveals-trespassing-influences/Adam Lambert reveals Trespassing influences Singer Adam Lambert has revealed some of the influences that went into the making of his new album Trespassing. Adam admits that he was listening to a lot of 90s music and was specifically inspired by the likes of George Michael and Michael Jackson. Lambert explained to the Daily Star, "It can't hurt me that the '90s are becoming trendy again. I went there because that's what inherently locked into my musical subconscious, as it's what I grew up with.” He added, "This album borrows so much from my first pop influences. I was listening to George Michael, Michael Jackson, Queen – I know Queen aren't '90s, but that's when I got into them – and house music. There's a lot of house's darker atmospheres in the album too.” NeverClose Our Eyes is set to be released in the UK on June 24.

www.classichitsandoldies.com/v2/2012/04/13/queen-and-adam-lambert-schedule-two-london-concerts-in-july/Queen and Adam Lambert Schedule Two London Concerts in July As expected, Queen‘s Brian May and Roger Taylor have officially announced that they and former American Idol finalist Adam Lambert will play two shows at London’s Hammersmith Apollo July. The concerts are scheduled to take place on July 11 and 12. The news comes just a couple of weeks after the UK Sonisphere Festival, which was to have featured a performance by Queen and Lambert, was canceled. The Hammersmith Apollo, which used to be called the Hammersmith Odeon, was the site of a number of famous Queen shows. May said of the newly scheduled gigs, “The Odeon is a big part of our history, and its atmosphere is second to none. It’s the perfect place to acknowledge our faithful fans, and will be a fitting return to our roots!” more

At the time Queen guitarist Brian May said that they would look to find another venue to hold the show in and news has broken that they may have done exactly that. more

Nile has a playlist of some of his work (I presume) at the end of the blog. It plays automatically while I'm reading Atop. FUN!

Good Morning all: Nice to hear about BTIKM in Finland. I still love that song. Just checked in on q102: www.q102.com/pages/ai-brackets/I was surprised to see that David Cook was ahead of Adam 50.25 to Adam's 49.75 I didn't know David had more of a voting block then Adam. I know this isn't important in the long run, but if you have extra time maybe we can try to catch up. Thanks

Today the thread is so slow. What about living it up with some pics? Please, I'm addicted to Adam's profile. I just hope this post isn't inappropriate....

I refuse to take part in the stupid polls that pit "Idol vs. Idol." They are meaningless and radio stations know it. I mean how often do you ever see Kelly Clarkson or Carrie win one of these things? Basically, David Cook fans have nothing else to do right now. They have nothing else going on. I guess they need this "little victory," more than we do. Personally I couldn't care less. Eta---not telling anyone not to vote, do what you want; just my personal opinion
