Anjalee, When I met Adam at a radio station promo, I was surprised at how easy he was to talk to. He just seemed very interested in what I was saying and was not intimidating at all.

Its strange isnt it? ??? Does Adam have an accurate self image? I think he just worries about his fans too much! And he has admitted he is somewhat of a perfectionist! Adam remains a huge mystery to me Mys*&@^#r50, because I pick up in him a remarkable ability to follow his deeper longings (which requires brushing off the pressure of the collective) and at the same time he connects richly to people close and fan-far. Does he worry about what the fans thinks - yeah it seems like it? not sure. He certainly takes the time to hear them and read them! I havent actually seen him go against his own wishes to cater to fan wishes tho. or am i not picking something up? Im intrigued by his perfectionism as well. How much of it comes from his immense drive for Beauty. And how much from some thing a little more unconscious and a desire to protect himself. Anyway no need to have answers to this stuff, Im just very intrigued by human excellence and Adam? Adam is Masterclass. ;D |

On Vh1, later on in the show, they showed part of the BTIKM vid and listed it as a *contender* at #21. Don't know that I've ever seen this before, or maybe I just wasn't paying attention. Might just be Vh1 pimping Adam, which is nice. Anyway, looks like he is close to getting back on the countdown. I was actually in another room getting ready to go to the store and heard *that* voice...lol! Came running in here to see what the hell was going on. I think they were around #4 or #5 in the countdown, so got a little excited at first.  Well, off to do my shopping. Then, back home to hunker down for the day. Major storms are predicted here today. It's acually been on the news since yesterday, some even calling them *catastrophic storms* :-/ So, expecting thunderstorms, for sure, and possible hail, tornados and 70 mph straight line winds. UGH! I live in a mobile home with my kitties. I have all their carriers out & ready to stuff them in if something hits. Not leaving here without them, for sure. Should be an interesting day, to say the least. |

So based on what I saw in this BestBuy site.. the cover art CD that's released a month ago is for the standard version. Then I hope the Deluxe version 's one that you use as your avi wal Best Buy's right behind my office building, I can just walked during lunch time to pick up my copies on May 15 ;D Then I will pre-order the UK version  |

I have a question for those who have met Adam. In the vids I notice that in many instances he really seems to be, whats the word, focusing or concentrating on what the person speaking to him is saying and giving out (energy wise). When you met him did that happen and did it feel comfortable or did it feel too "intense" or overfocusing or in any other way uncomfortable?  I have been face to face with Adam a couple of times now and he is the most present person I have ever witnessed! Also watched him walking the line as he was signing and he is present with the person he is in front of at that moment. This really stands out and seems so impossible with all the madness going on around him. And he seems to make people feel very comfortable, IMHO. He is so gentle... not too intense but must say it all seems like a big hazy in the aftermath and goes by too fast:-) HAPPY BIRTHDAY adpiaes! |

That I think is what interviewers seem to feel as well. I asked because Im doing this class in which they mentioned the impact of over-intensity and over-focus. But even though he says he's intense, he seems to me to be "globally aware" in a room rather than narrowly intense. |

Yes, I can sense this presence through all the mediums (voice, visuals etc) but its lovely to hear it confirmed in person. Presence attracts me a great deal.... Its intriguing to here you say "gentle". Thats a great combination with presence I think. I think i see it in his pictures from such an early age - like it is his nature. And then! when you think about the passionate side of him. I mean really? Is there a more perfect man? |
