I wish I had 12 ears because I want to listen to all the snippits at once they are all so amazing and the production is fucking fantastic and Underneath is killing me and I want to cry but then I listen to Shady and I'm dancing and freaking out because Kickin' In sounds like the best of Princesque pop and life is beautiful and nothing hurts and I smell Grammy noms and omgggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg!!!!!!!  I got nothin' to add to this. Except--I am always surprised at the massive visceral/PHYSICAL reaction I have to Adam's voice on some songs. AWESOME. Having lots of fun picking out favorite lyrics from each snippet! |

I wonder how long it will be before these are all over in the online news outlets? If we all have them, they're going to be finding them too. Might as well put them on US itunes too...lol!!
I've listened to Underneath at least 4 times now and everytime it's the same. I mean, serious chills all through my body!! It's amazing how a voice can do that to someone. I can't wait for the whole song!!!!!!

OMG! The snippets!!  Love love "Kickin' In"!! (Hear a bit of Prince and a lot of Michael Jackson--"Smooth Criminal" was the first MJ song that jumped to mind.) "Pop That Lock" is sooo cool! I like what I've heard so far of "Broken English." "Shady" sounds much different than I expected--more poppy at the beginning of the clip, but the funkiness comes toward the end and I'm loving it! "Outlaws of Love" is still so beautiful, and "Chokehold" sounds as amazing as I remember from the live version. "Underneath" is incredible. His voice on this song makes my stomach do little flips. Simply breathtaking. When Adam sings "step" in the line "baby, better watch your step," I actually have the sensation of descending. And the lyrics . . . This song is going to kill me live. |
