UnderneathI've been trying to figure this lyric out. What's on the left? And then it occurred to me-- it's the heart. So I think the singer is saying to be brave and look underneath, even though it makes your heart vulnerable. OMG I love this song so damn much!!!!!!!!!!!!! My thought was it was "left of centre" or left field - as in outside the norm ... freak. Kinda fits, but I like the heart context too. Every damn song is soooo incredible!!!!!! If this album doesn't go down as THE album of 2012........ |

Alright, I've now seen the posts about the snippets and lyrics and you guys are making re-think my policy of not listening to snippets. I can't stand all this excitement and not know what you are flailing about.

I think Adam is a genius and this album needs to be heard by all. This can not be overlooked in the business, Adam will get alot of attention. I am hoping other artists will want Adam to work on their albums in the furure.

Ahhhhh ... my funky soul has been fed.
Can not help but remember that Adam and Sam were writing this song and Sam said something like; "you know who would be great on this, Nile Rodgers ... let's tweet him." and funky heaven was born.

Yesterday, my snobby musician son had to admit that he liked Trespassing (I played a live version). Tonight my very knowledgeable husband said Broken English was the best track so far and liked it!!!
