Do songs usually go on sale at itunes before they go to radio? NCOE goes on sale tomorrow, right? I know nothing about these things.

But I think they wanted the pre-sale to start tomorrow for the album. One month ahead is normal for presales, so they are doing the single sale tie in with that. |

But I think they wanted the pre-sale to start tomorrow for the album. One month ahead is normal for presales, so they are doing the single sale tie in with that. Not always. Bieber released his song to iTunes before radio. Maroon 5 is doing the same thing this Tuesday. I see the releases of singles on iTunes before/at the same time as radio releases as often as I see the roll out you described above. Adam's release to iTunes before radio is pretty typical nowadays. I was hoping for a debut from a big CHR station this time, though! :( |

It's a cool song, Adam Levine is hot right now, and he is just coming off having one of the biggest hits in the world last year with MLJ.
