That Blankenship guy just does not like production apparently. Adam's voice BURIED in NCOE? In what universe? His voice soars! Guy needs a better sound system.
I just became a member of the Kirby Center. So Friday comes the soul-crushing try for good seats! I don't expect it to be as frustrating as you guys experienced trying to get Adam/Queen tickets, but it's NEVER a fun experience.

Not quite, there's C's an octave beneath middle C, that's C3 I think. Not his lowest note but they're strong "alRIGHT" Edit: Thought I should mention that Shady has some of his lowest singing ever! Some B flats below that note I mentioned in Pop That Lock I heard those B flats as well, but wasn't sure if I could attribute them to Adam. Sam Sparro contributes vocals to that track, and it could be him singing the lower harmonies?? What do you think? You are the expert and I would defer to your opinion. The overall tone reminds me of Adam in the Upright performances where he went low. Sam's tonal quality (sorry if that isn't the right term) seems different to me. The "Alright" sounds like Adam to me.

It's so funny, if Adam puts out an album with minimal production it will be headed straight to lite stations and adult contemporary. It is the AI curse, there will always be a faction of his fanbase ( and certain critics) who fell in love with "Mad World" Adam and won't accept anything other than a sparse ballad. Thanks to AI, there is a part of his fanbase that doesn't understand or like pop music.
I think real critics will "get it."

Just to remind that Finland was number one Adam fanland even before he met Sauli.

Help....I can't get out of the music.... I am stuck blissfully in Shady, grinning and unable to stop my hips form swaying when abruptly it stops with a moment of panic before Kickin In sucks me in and I find every part of my body is shouting "yes, I feel it". But just when I think it has completely washed through me, the music stops again. I think I may have a chance of leaving and getting back to being a responsible productive adult when Broken English starts and his voice is like a spell and I picture myself swaying seductively along side a warm body. I have a physical response when he says, "iceberg, just the tip". Then Chokehold eases itself around me and I am stuck. Just stuck. I may never get out! I don't have enough self-control to fight it. Here comes Pop That Lock and Michael is calling me out to the dance floor... I know the feeling. I heard the NNN Trespassing for the first time last night. It sucked me in like it was the first time I was seeing Adam. How is it possible to still get that new love obsessive feeling after stanning someone for three years? I am addicted to this performance. Sorry, I am sure all of you have flailed this one to death and moved on. www.logotv.com/video/misc/757191/2012-newnownext-awards-adam-lambert-performance.jhtml#id=1682477

Thanks to AI, there is a part of his fanbase that doesn't understand or like pop music. I think real critics will "get it." I'm counting on it . Some people only want rock Adam. They will not be happy with Trespassing. Then there are those, like my sister, who only like acoustic Adam. Every time I send her an acoustic performance, she LOVES it and wishes he would do more of that. She will definitely not like Trespassing. Except for Underneath and OOL. BUT this album is an AMAZING pop album. I'm trying very hard not to let my stanning self influence my judgement but, of course, it's almost impossible. Still, I feel there is something really special about Trespassing and I now understand all the UK flail. I'm counting on really good reviews. I have everything crossed. Adam deserves this.
