Interesting comment about NCOE. When I listened to the lyrics as everyone was talking about whether to have a love interest in the MV I thought, "This could be about his generation, his people, his outlook on life, which is to be totally present in the moment and appreciate all the good things you have in your life." Seems like Adam interprets it that way, too. I can definitely see him going in that direction. SCROLL ALERT! Hmm, indeed, Cassie, indeed-good thinking! I was talking to a friend about Adam's tribes etc (as part of a larger very OT discussion) and showing her some (non-Adam) photos to explain a project. She said she thought this most current take on the communal experience was a positive characteristic of the Millennials (aka Gen Y). Technology, social networks, globalism also being elements -- Maybe (getting back on topic) the NCOE video could follow night around the world - same theme, same age group roughly, but dif nations/cultures - and of course Adam Everywhere Allthetime. Would also embrace intl fand directly. (No need to go on expensive location - we have movie magic.)(Maybe something similar to how the pink cellphone is traveling the world in the show 'Touch' - the modern message in a bottle.) Wow, I LOVE this idea, Mika!!! |

Adam just said he wrote on 12 of the 15 tracks, but we know that he did not write on BTIKM, NCOE, Naked Love or Underneath. Are his math skills as bad as his spelling, or was there a co-write we missed?
Also don't see much love for Pop that Lock, which I adore. Remember way back when we when we trying to guess the name of the album and Unlocked kept coming up? (that was around the time he got the skeleton key tattoo.) Wonder if that's when that one was written.
My favorite lyric of all the songs so far is from Kickin In: "The sweetest seeds make the best trees!" Love that one!

Or it's possible he ended up with writing credit on "Underneath"; it seem like they really worked on that one. One thing that is so compelling about Underneath for me is that I get the "connection/vibe/personal energy" from it that I do from the songs he wrote. Not only does it seem deeply personal, it seems ripped from his soul. Of course, we know someone else originally wrote it, but wow, it is a heartbreaking interpretation!! I do wonder if he tweaked some of the lyrics or melody to the point of getting credit? Or, if not, he miscounted – nothing new there ...  |
