Really?! People are offended by ma'am? Are men in the North offended by "sir"? How do store clerks, etc. address people? As in "Ma'am, can I help you find anything today?" If the word ma'am were outlawed, I picture the whole great works of retailing in the South just slowly ... shutting ... down ... If Adam ever called me' doll 'it would become my very favorite word.LOL This is the stuff YOU CANNOT FIND in any grammar... it's priceless to me. Thanks OTT, but I love it when people fight here on Atop :D, for one reason only, it's very beneficial for my vocabulary, things like "why don't you take THAT and stuff it to your pipe". I don't remember who said it or even what it exactly means, but I love the sound of it

All the talk about the videos reminded me of a pet peeve I have regarding Adam's expression:))) Performing BTIKM on Leno's Show was so exciting to me and I loved the ethereal paleness and solemnity of his face, but at one point he made that 'desperate' expression, which bothers me a bit, kind of ruins it for me a little. He does the same thing on WWFM and BTIKM videos. I think he magnificently pulls off hot&sexy&fierce, but when it comes to slow songs, I wish he remained solemn and dignified. So, speaking of Underneath, hopefully no crying, clutching his chest or making the desperate face. Underneath is such a serious, deeply emotional song that adding physical display of its content to a performance would diminish its pathos and push it into pathetic. Adam should serve as the finest possible medium between the song's strong message and the audience, and thus bringing on the inevitable catharsis. By coincidence or not, this is also the song which brings the word FREAK into the second era. ( WWFM did that in first) I have really strong feelings about that, the implication that anyone could think of Adam as one. Basically, I want to rip their heart out and feed them to it. But it also reminds me of the most famous song which uses the word, Radiohead's "Freak", and Thom Yorke manages to avoid pathetic in that video by remaining serious. Which is my point. I think Adam should perform and interpret that song whichever way he wants, it's his song. Don't quite get what you mean by "desperate expression".

The correct saying is "Why don't you put that in your pipe and smoke it!" means..."so THERE!, what do you think about THAT!"

Hoopla I hear you! When Mark Ronson was in Israel he held a press conference. If I was able to get in I would have asked him about a collaboration with Adam. I mean, just look at what he did for Duran Duran. He adapts himself to the artist (unlike Dr Luke). Paul Rodgers LOL adamrocks yours is better

Annietoo, you know, like when he scrunches his face like he's about to cry... And no, Adam should totally call me first before he does anything. You can fax him my phone number for me. Duberville, I LOVED that post, I almost remember it by heart! Thank you :D :D :D

Not ashamed that I did this when I read your post too!! hehe
