Yes, that's what Adam said and I believe him. But IMO for those who don't analyze lyrics and just enjoy songs (non stans) it would sound like it is about dancing & clubbing! He probably did that intentionally so it wouldn't be "the gay guy out looking for sex." ITA, mys*&@^#r, and that's why Shady could easily be a kick-ass single!!! On the surface, there's nothing about the lyrics that will cause mass pearl clutching. THIS COULD BE THE BEST SINGLE EVAH!!!!!!!!!! Yes but didn't one of those British reviewers say that they had the 'clean ending' of Shady. So there must be a 'dirty ending'. I think Adam also said in an interview that he didn't know how Middle America would take it. Can't wait to hear the whole song.

So one last question ... those of you who live in the land of no-ma'am/no-sir ... how do you address people, or do you simply not address them at all? Example: Suppose I am getting ready to attend an Adam Lambert concert in a few hours. I stop by the International House of Pancakes to stoke up with some carbs and as I'm enjoying my coffee, I see a Glambert leaving. As she leaves her tickets fall out of her purse. I would run after her screaming "Ma'am! Ma'am! Wait! Wait! You dropped something!" You? Well, hmm. Noreaster makes a good case but I would say the real question is - are they better tickets than the ones I have? Because if so the universe wants me to have them and is punishing the fan who cares so little she lets them fall out of her purse. Who am I to interfere with the Grand Plan? So maybe a very very quiet 'thank you!'

I'm kind of glad to hear that there's a "clean version" of Shady for radio (and a dirty version for us). I would be SOOOO PISSED if a song this great never got to be a single. It would be like Fever all over again and Shady is lightyears ahead of Fever, songwise. JMHO.

I noticed that KLLC 97.3 station (Alice radio) in San Francisco played NCOE 3 times today so far, but hasn't played BTIKM at all.. is this a good thing or do we still need to request BTIKM, as well as NCOE? ???

There'd better be more panting involved! ;D pi, I see no one has answered your gifting quetsion. I noticed the gifting option(for the album) isn't there and the only thing I can figure out is that maybe they don't allow it for presales?

Actually Adam said in an interview somewhere that the whole "clean end" thing was just a name of one of the mixes and it had to do with something about the instruments not about the lyrics at all. Unfortunately I can't remember where he was asked about that. One of the radio promo things I think.

Gotta give a shoutout to Sam and Nile for their parts on Shady too. Nile's part is so slinky and funky and cool, I love it! Having another vocalist sing the bridge was a strange decision by Adam but Sam sounds really cool and I love the contrast between them. God I LOVE this song!!
