Forgot to mention in my recap, last night, that the reason Adam put his foot up on the monitor, like that, as Ryan was coming out is that he slightly tripped over it as he got off his stool. (I didn't realize until I rewatched this morning, that the camera had cut away to the judges and you didn't gte to see the beginning of that bit.) His 'recovery" was by putting his leg on it and then he turned it into a little "comedy bit" with Ryan. Using his theatrical stage experience, I think!

Lord, I think I am very glad and very lucky that I do not hear flaws nor do I get thrown if is something different than the last version...........I like whatever he decides is his vision for that performance.
I just know what I like when I hear it and am glad I can enjoy my music without listening so critically *sigh*............

Michael Sarver is a sweetheart always to Adam.
(Of course, not REALLY surprising to me, but have you noticed how almost everything written about Adam's performance last night has referenced to some degree or another how damn GOOD he looked? And those jeans! During Adam's "dougie dance" I was particularly reminded of ChunkyMonkey's little animated GB pants gif . . . )

Oh and Steven Tyler looked stoned Yeah this is my feeling also. I didn't want to condemn the man, as I really like him a lot, but he has a long and recent history of drug abuse/rehab. He was not right tonight, and it wasn't Adam! That was my opinion exactly. Been Aerosmith fan long, long (long) time, love Steven but last night was a little weird. I didn't take it as an affront to Adam, more as if Steven was "detached." I was happy when some who were present said their meeting and interaction went well, for Adam's sake, because he is a fan. I hope Steven is okay and keeps a leash on his demons. I am so proud of Adam's time with the contestants, I hope there was more off camera before or after. He always knows how to lay to rest any perceived issues, like taking time to talk to and be silly with James, allaying any fears or assumption of strife. Even though it is silly to think he would even care what a contestant has to say, it takes one more piece of pettiness out of the blogosphere.

Did anyone else notice that the T-shirt Adam wore almost looks like a Black and White version of the Acoustic Live cover? Subliminal message with those stars going across the top! Adam is smart!

I dont know if this is posted already. I love the whole interview THR: You performed on Idol last season with lasers and smoke, this acoustic version of “Aftermath” was far more stripped down. Is that meant to convey the vulnerability of the song? How did you feel about the performance? Adam Lambert: I felt really good. It was a bit out-of-body, as usual, but I always find that those are probably the best performances. There's something kind of magical that happens when you're completely in another zone. It’s like peoples' energy affecting you from the outside in. read more :www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/adam-lambert-promises-campy-more-166821I love this article, good interviews, be sure to read the whole thing, guys!! And has a bonus picture, how gorgeous is he?!

So glad that we are getting reports from our fellow ATopians that they are ok. I woke up this morning to an email from a friend asking if the sirens were going off and had no clue what she was talking about. I live near Washington coast and the surge was pretty minimal. I hope folks are smart enough to stay away from the water. It's been a terrible time for natural disasters, first Australia, then New Zealand, and now Japan.
