Finally caught up! What an absolute WIN for Adam on Idol last night! Heard a couple what I would call "wobbly" notes in the first line, but didn't sound flat to me. It was quite low in his range and I don't think it had any impact on how great that performance was. All the positive press and reactions and the jump at Itunes and Amazon are great to see!
Kanadie mentioned it earlier, but one of the great things I love about Adam (along with the overall awesomeness, the smile, the big FULL heart, his charm and charisma, that gorgeous voice the hot bot and handsome face, etc. etc. LOL) is that his diction is just outstanding. I can't think of any other singer who sings the words so clearly. With a lot of singers I find the words often very hard to understand so I find that I pay less attention to the lyrics and more to the voice and the overall melody and sound of the song, but this song is really special to him and he infused so much feeling into it, it made my heart full too. ILHSFM!
Thank you to all the ninjas for finding things, and YEAH for being able to get the remix at Itunes Canada. Would have liked to buy it at AO, but what can you do if they don't make it available to Canadians there!

I don't think so. That's why there was a delay and AO had it earlier (for some). I just got mine from ITunes Canada. Sure sounds good on bigger speakers. Yes, it still benefits TP, but I-Tunes gets a cut of it. Off of AO, Trevor Project gets more. Thanks, that makes me feel a bit better. |

I only watch the exclusive EW vid once, I know bad stan, but I couldn't tell if it was gum or some kind of breath mint/lozenge that he had in his mouth

I'm much too quick on the draw and not observant enough. My apologies to Squirrely007. I am very laid back, but have a hair trigger on 2 subjects, Adam and traffic. I seem incapable of being mellow about either, but I'll try. No problem, BB!! It's easy to do when we're scanning things all the time. It happens on Twitter a lot when you RT something and someone then thinks you said that and they react and you don't know what they're reacting too .... *sigh* I find I'm often going so fast at my job that I read emails at a glance. The other day I was responding to someone saying, "You left out the most important information ..." but before I hit Send, I thought, "Maybe I better reread that, just in case ..." Thank god I did, because she HAD included exactly what I was going to ask her for. : : I just wanted to make sure everyone knew Squirrely is definitely one of us. And chalk me up to the #adamdefiesmypetpeeves club. I am NOT a gum person. I rarely chew it. I'm not squeamish at all, but when people stick gum in public places it squicks me out. And someone chewing gum in an interview? but Adam managed to pull that off. (Well, at least not grate my last nerve with it.) But if I was his PR agent, I would say, "PLEASE, do NOT chew gum in an interview, please!" Interesting you all are discussing the gum chewing. Adam is always so attentive & spot on during interviews. When I have noticed the gum chewing in the past, VERY RARE, I just thought it had something to do with keeping his vocal chords moist by swallowing etc. Stupid me, I really did think it was some vocal trick, like he drinks tea w/honey.  |

Got the email from AO that the GNT DVD shipped . And I thought they were issuing this on March 22nd yet . So I guess it is sold everywhere in retail on March 22nd and pre-order ships earlier ?
By the way... the AI performance .... we kept on watching it over and over and loved it... and we tweaked the Audio settings as the kids had it on Tru Surround and other settings , which fits any MV or dance music and whoa.... vocals sounded more solid... don't know how to technically describe it but just sounded so much better....
rock acoustic or whatever you call the way Adam was singing it.... Adam just sounded so great ... even the beginning which sounded tentative it was just right, like a build up was starting and over all this rock acoustic vocals was so fitting to the lyrics.... and the bit where he sounded like he was straining... it comes out more like he was emoting a deep seated feeling...
anyway I know you all, are still immersed in viewing the AI Aftermath ......
