Sorry, postwhoring just to say how impressed I am with how well you Queenbert would-be concert goers are handling this. I would be holed up under my bed with a bottle and a box of tissues by now and refusing to come out. Have my request out to the Universe to have this mess turn around for you... Hey, I've got it. Dear Universe: If it works out for all of these nice people vis a vis Queen concert plans I will never ever ever badmouth NAL again, no matter what the provocation. At least not out loud. Did you just jinx us? ;D ;D What happens to us if you do badmouth NAL aloud again? ;D ;D *******
Hey guys - Kris is indeed news as he tweeted today.
However, as there seems to be a lot of repeating of the exact same information, unless there is something NEW to say about Kris, lets try to ease off the Kris discussions.
Thanks!

Happy Birthday glitterglambert98 and crazy4you!! I'm predicting this year will be full of good Adam things for you, lol.
Today I am suddenly feeling really zen about spins, numbers, radio play etc... I understand Adam wants these things, and I will buy, vote and request because of that.
But today I am zen and trying to think why.
Listening to the snippets last night, I felt any angst just melt away. Thinking about it this morning, I realize that the fact that the album is this good and resonates with me in such a deeply satisfying way makes it already a success for me. I know it is good artistically, and that is also so pleasing and satisfying and rich. I am genuinely so happy for Adam. I feel he knows it is good as well, on that artistic level, and it is the deep, personal knowing that makes us soul happy rather than the mercurial noise of crowds in the ever shifting wind.
Of course, lol, money is rewarding, and fortunately he is already doing well in that regard and will continue to do well by most standards and have the opportunities that brings, but in the end, as they say, it can't buy you love, most importantly self-love.

butterfly I am still scorned but I am hoping some tickets will show up at the normal fee as I can not afford the prices on getmein. If its meant to be I will get tickets. There needs to be a law against these scalpers. glamtealady -my dear- No, you are not scorned! We were put to the test ... But we Atopers are not discouraged! I'm sure you can still be found reasonably priced tickets! I agree, there should be a law against scalpers!

Dear Universe: If it works out for all of these nice people vis a vis Queen concert plans I will never ever ever badmouth NAL again, no matter what the provocation. At least not out loud. I had to de-lurk just to chime in on this and one comment about Trespassing. I agree that the Queen-AL concert attendees are to be commended for handling all these setbacks with such grace. I was so excited when Sonisphere was first announced and our Atop members displayed such commitment and spontaneity as they one by one announced that they would be flying across the pond despite all their various obstacles. THERE WAS A CARPE DIEM SPIRIT EXUDED THAT I HOPE WON'T BE EXTINGUISHED WITH ALL THE DISAPPOINTMENTS AND FINANCIAL SETBACKS THAT THE DATE CHANGES CAUSED. I was inspired by you all and hope to be spontaneous like that in the future! Regarding Trespassing, Angelkrash commented yesterday about the sexiness of Chokehold. I agree and have been mesmerized by the Jezebel performance of it (except for when Adam was ticked off about the sound). I think the tempo is what makes it so sexy because it seems to be a good tempo for certain activities. I don't think the snippets include what could be the sexiest part (I'm at a loss for words to describe the mini-wails!) I don't mean to dwell on Chokehold because I LOVE all of the tracks. Just can't wait.

I've always assumed that most of the communication between Adam & his friends is private. Adam is in a position to actually help friends in the business by promoting their work. It doesn't generally work the other way around. Public tweets from Kris to Adam only seem to generate bitching from Adam fans. No matter what he says, he should have said more or he should have said it better or he should have tweeted about something else, too. After Adam's tweet last night, Kris had to say thanks. It's best that he doesn't say any more. Gonna have to respectfully disagree with you on this. He doesn't know fans are bitching. Tweeting support is just the right thing to do. Obviously, Kris is so insecure, maybe he feels, that if he tweets support to Adam, that his fans will back away from him or not support him. Honestly Kris needs all the support he can get. A southern gentleman, he is not. Geez, I should have seen it sooner. Of course, all of those bigoted red neck KA fans will drop him like a hot potato, if too much of the gay rubs off on him.

Radio NRJ Finland poll has been mentioned here before. The poll will be resolved tonight in about three hours. They ask name, age, phone number (if it shows in the link I used an imaginary one starting with 040, other possibilites 050, 0400, 044). www.nrj.fi/hittivaihuti I expect all Finns, at least, to take part - NOW GO!!! Voted! (I lied my age, hah haa!)

I think Rufus Wainwright is going to have a really tough time ever getting a pop hit, even with Ronson.
I hope Adam gets to work with Ronson one day, but I would really like to see him collaborate with David Guetta ( I wonder if Guetta might have been the collaboration Adam was so hoping for)

Am I the only one who's getting a little worried about Brian May's enthusiasm for new concerts? Queen concerts are LONG, and Adam has previously said that his concerts were as long as his voice could safely handle on repeated concerts. A one-off at Knebworth? Ok - balls to the wall and wail yer heart out baby!!! Multiple back to back Queen-length concerts........ :-[ :-/ Adam has no problem setting limits on his own shows. He might be really hesitant though to admit physical limitations to Brian and Roger for Queen shows.....

I kind of agree 4Msrmyn. I also think that while Adam and Kris are certainly friends, they have completely separate lives, running in totally different circles. It wouldn't surprise me if Kris has never heard NCOE and has no idea it's been released. He is probably unaware of 90 percent of the stuff Adam has going on right now. He's had way more time than Adam has had over the past couple of months. Adam was on an 18 city radio tour where giving a mini-concert and having a M&G two to three times a day, yet he managed to listen to Kris' new song, mention it in interviews and tweet about it. RCA sends out the links to Adam's new singles just like they do for NAL's. I imagine that is how Adam knows what is going on with Kris. Can Kris not spend 10 minutes listening to some of the new stuff from Adam? He was basically been dormat for two or three weeks out of the last month and a half. There were some days were Kris did nothing but tweet out pictures of the food he was eating that day. Of course Kris is unaware of anything Adam is doing, he doesn't make the effort to do anything otherwise.
