[puts on lolly hat] Hey guys - the Kris tweets *IS* news as he did indeed tweet today. However, if there's already been a ton of Kris angsting and we're starting to repeat. Ergo, unless you have something NEW to say about Kris, lets give it a rest. Some of us aren't online at 7:00 in the morning. We commented on southern manners from early morning till late evening yesterday. j/s that may be so but whenever Adam tweets regarding KA's music the comments regarding Kris are always the same. Adam is always going to be gracious to others. Don't see why we need to point out that KA isn't. And I am not a KA fan and don't follow any news on him. Just sayin And now Hoppers I'll STFU ;D

I feel the same as Hoppers. That's why I'm beyond thankful for the EMA's. He's always been a hands-on man, learning from experience, from his own mistakes. He had a huge tour himself PLUS the EMA's PLUS he's a busy bee and he'll rehearse like a madman. In no circumstances whatsoever will Adam allow any slip ups. I hope. I am a little fearful though. Maybe their performance won't be THAT long? Does anyone actually know how long their set is going to be? Without looking back on other comments and copies of set lists mentioned here, I had the impression the shows are quite long, but there were quite a few numbers where Freddie did not sing. Solos by Brian or Roger, etc. Perhaps special guests. Brian and Roger are pros - my guess is they will not abuse Adam's voice.

I started listening to KRZ the Wilkes Barre station that added Adam. Had it on in the car yesterday & the male dj was teasing the female about how excited she was that Adam Lambert is coming to WB again. He said she is worried about how hair looks when she meets him. I love to hear that stuff. Speaking of WB I'm starting to get stressed about tickets already. Both the venue (Kirby Center) and the radio station go through TM. UGH. And they compete for seats. Gonna be ugly - I know it. But I can NOT complain after seeing what those of you going to the Queen concerts have been through!!! I hope everything works out beautifully for every one of you and that any financial loss is minimal! I need help. The only NCOE I can find on Spotify is the Bing Lounge acoustic one. HELP! this is how I found it: 1) type Adam Lambert in the search box and click search 2) in the middle of the results screen - in the "artists" - click on Adam Lambert 3) scroll down until you see the "never Close Your Eyes" 4) add it to your playlist and click on the green circle on the lower right bottom to indicate continuios replay

I kind of agree 4Msrmyn. I also think that while Adam and Kris are certainly friends, they have completely separate lives, running in totally different circles. It wouldn't surprise me if Kris has never heard NCOE and has no idea it's been released. He is probably unaware of 90 percent of the stuff Adam has going on right now. Actually no...Kris gives very few interviews, but when he does, he says very very similar things to Adam about things, his album, etc etc. Its curious. I think he follows Adam more closely than one might imagine. Hmmmmm

Thanks for that link nonotme...I read the article last night and it is interesting. Any of you that have not listened to Rufus should give him a try. He is a bit like Sia in that he is a brilliant songwriter but his performance skills are more brave and quirky then amazeballs, lilke Adam's. He is very brave though...and his shows are far more campy than Adam has even attempted to do..in the general public. He has a killer sense of humor that often shows in his songs too. But lots of angst. He is the closest to Musical Royalty we have in Canada..... eta...was just listening to some of his stuff in the car yesterday...can make you cry...as honest as underneath....listen to "do I disappoint you?"....gaaaahhhhh eta2...too lazy and tired to edit my post but apologies for the grammar and sp..... :-/ I love Rufus. I even named one of my cats after him years ago. He is such a unique treasure, both on record and in concert. But a pop artist he really is not. It saddens me for him that he feels he needs to have a pop hit. I am sure he is feeling the pressure of being more successful so that he can continue a recording career. It amazes me that people as wonderfully talented as Rufus is have to fight for survival. His talent alone should be enough. Having a pop hit should be irrelevant. But I realize I am living in a dream world. Guess this applies to Adam as well. Though Adam is certainly more pop-inclined, so I have no worries about him.

Am I the only one who's getting a little worried about Brian May's enthusiasm for new concerts? Queen concerts are LONG, and Adam has previously said that his concerts were as long as his voice could safely handle on repeated concerts. A one-off at Knebworth? Ok - balls to the wall and wail yer heart out baby!!! Multiple back to back Queen-length concerts........ :-[ :-/ Adam has no problem setting limits on his own shows. He might be really hesitant though to admit physical limitations to Brian and Roger for Queen shows..... Queen concerts were LONG, but that's why Brian & Roger were and are also going to sing some of the lead songs. Yes they sometimes had 25 songs in their set list, but Freddie didn't sing all of them alone. Roger said coz Freddie's so good people didn't realize that Brian & Roger actually also san some songs in their concerts.

[ Regarding Trespassing, Angelkrash commented yesterday about the sexiness of Chokehold. I agree and have been mesmerized by the Jezebel performance of it (except for when Adam was ticked off about the sound). I think the tempo is what makes it so sexy because it seems to be a good tempo for certain activities. I don't think the snippets include what could be the sexiest part (I'm at a loss for words to describe the mini-wails!) I don't mean to dwell on Chokehold because I LOVE all of the tracks. Just can't wait. [/quote] The Jezebel performance is so frickin sexy its not funny. Also when he gets ticked off I give him a free pass and think even that's nice. :

I'm confident they'll be able to work something out where they can put on great shows without it being an endurance test for Adam. And, in a very small voice, I'm going to say this. I loved the EMA's, love Adam with Queen but ultimately I want Adam doing his music. I want the Trespassing promo and tour to take precedence over all. I can't wait to hear all these amazing songs performed live .
