[looks wry] In all honesty, the more religious Jewish communities puts a high value almost solely based on how many Jewish children you have produced. Ergo, a gay man, even an insanely talented gay man, often isn't valued all that highly. My mother looks at Adam (like she views almost any male Jewish gay) and says "What a waste". >:( ETA: He might be "redeemed" if he has children. But since Jewishness is traditionally only carried in the mother's line, his kids wouldn't be considered Jewish. [snort] Unless maybe the surrogate was Jewish. Male-male families aren't covered under the traditional precepts ??? : That's interesting Hoppers. It would be neat to see the Jewish community claiming and supporting Adam more and more, as we have started to see with the gay community. Just an anecdote but a nice one. My sister is a big Glambert too. Not long ago she was taking a sewing class and two of the other students were a very forceful Jewish lady and her meek, beaten-down daughter. Anyway, for her final project my sister had made some Adam fabric and was making a pillow. People wanted to know who it was on the fabric, and before my sister could answer the Jewish lady took a deep breath and began to speak. My sister was full of dread as the lady began in stentorian tones, "His name is Adam Lambert. He was on American Idol." But then her voice softened. "He's Jewish, and he's gay, and he's very brave. At first everyone gave him a hard time, but he stood up for himself. And now he's a huge hero to a lot of people."

Gotta run, but will check back later to see if any twitter expert knows the answer to this question I've been meaning to ask for days, but keep forgetting. How does this "promotional" tweeting work?? Does Mraz team/label pay twitter to do this? Curious because several of his promo'd tweets just show up on my feed automatically. Does EVERY twitter account in the universe see this, too? Because I would REALLY love to see a tweet like this about NCOE or Trespassing! @jason_mraz Friends Worldwide: Join me for two special Q&A's tmrw, Apr 19 @ 11:30am & 6:30pm PDT! RSVP: on.fb.me/JjbQNl #LoveIsAFourLetterWord Promoted by Jason Mraz Thx in advance to anyone who knows how this works!

Is it just me, or does it seems like all the upbeat songs on Trespassing can be possible singles, heck even some of the slower ones as well. ITA I mean, for me it's like how can they not be singles? They're each sooo addictive in their own way. Shady would be HUGE IMO. But they are all great. I had to laugh yesterday when someone asked Beatweek to ask Adam if there were drugs in Kickin In'. I feel that way about all of them. I swear the snippets call to me when I'm sleeping . I wake up wanting needing to hear them. So crazy lol.

Hello Everyone! I am a longtime lurker finally joining in! I have loved Adam since Idol, and I have followed along here since Planet Fierce days. Even though I am new to you, I feel like many of you are old friends! I have long given up trying to figure out what draws me to Adam, I just know he calls out to me, like a pied piper, and makes me do crazy things, like travel long distances. I was lucky enough to see GNT in Hammond, Knoxville, Nashville, Tampa and Hollywood Hardrock. The reason I am delurking today is because Adam has now called me to London! I have tickets for both nights and I am really hoping to connect with those that are going! I will look in the members only thread for details. I am also hoping to meet many more of you during this new era! I absolutely love all of the snippets and can't wait to hear them live! I will probably not post a lot, because I'm usually way behind, but I do appreciate so many of you for the information you bring, the pretty pictures, the different perspectives and of course the humor! Love to all! PS: Glamtealady, I sent you a message Welcome terrijo! Glad you got tickets, lucky you!

Thanks for the link. There's no way I can do the multiple browsers with different IP's - I'm sure I would mess that up royally. BUT the "don't use the refresh button" was interesting. I'll try doing the "search" instantaneously....but that's gotta slow you down right? Anybody have any insight on the best methods for scoring on Ticketmaster? Should one search for "best available" or a particular price point? Best available, you limit yourself at a pricepoint. I find that sometimes this is limiting becasue they will always throw out GA.

Yep, verklemt. Verklempt? Anyway, thanks for that great story, Juniemoon. Made me tear up in a good way. He's fabulous in so many ways, but I think it might be his bravery I love most and want most to emulate.

Geez, sweetie, I hope you didn't think I was criticizing you? I am working very hard to get zen about this issue. I usually fail. : I think Melliemom needs to give us lessons. Hope you have a good RL day... ETA: Okay, just one more little bitter pissy mutter...."Southern Gentleman" my ASS. Now putting myself in time out corner...bad, bad noreaster...bad. OK, I don't give a teeny rat's ass about anything NAL-related, but "little bitter pissy mutter" is just the BEST EXPRESSION EVAH!!!! [hugs littlebitterpissymutter.... hugs it HARD... and tucks it away in a safe place]

LOL.. can you tell I didn't know anything about the guy and didn't even pay attention that the YT was from 2 years ago... BIG OPPPS.. No, it's not just you. I think all of them but Naked Love and that one is off my single list due to lyrics, not because it is not single worthy. The only slow one that is single worthy, IMO, is Chokehold. If RCA does these releases right, in the correct order and with the correct timing (tall order for RCA A&R, I know! : ) we could have Adam singles on the radio for 2 years. Yeps, it's the order in which they release the singles, that's going to stand the test. If they release one that is too edgy before it's time, that could halt the progression. Tricky, but all of them sounds good. And funny that you say that, because Naked Love sounds like the most radio friendly of all the songs, and the only one that actually sounds like it might be a smash for me. Yeah, but that Naked Love title...tricky.

I woke up earlier this morning with Shady in my head, then a few hours later it was Broken English.
