He's a showman and is having a great time. I love the dynamic with his band too. He and Adam both are so joyful when they are on stage. |

I'm confuzzled.. can anyone with radio knowledge answer this question..? ??? I've asked before, but no replies.. KLLC 97.3 Alice Radio San Francisco is playing NCOE now, but have totally stopped playing BTIKM (they were the first to add BTIKM song).. I just checked media base on their plays today, and they played NCOE 5 times today, and WWFM once... no BTIKM. Is this typical to play the newest, and drop the other song? When I call to request, should I only request NCOE now or alternate with BTIKM? I also use the mediabase request form which allows me to request both. Happy Birthday Lynne!  Looks like no one answered you yet so I will try. Yes this is perfectly normal. For the vast majority of artists there will be one active song on the radio. It is normal for BTIKM to be decreased or even dropped completely to make way for NCOE. If they play another song of Adam's right now it will probably be WWFM or maybe IIHY. In other words they will go further back in his history for other songs to play. This helps keep straight in people's minds which song is current. Nothing wrong with continuing to request BTIKM but put your focus on NCOE. If using mediabase forms sure put both on there. but if requesting on twitter or facebook focus on NCOE primarily at least for CHR/top 40 stations. Since BTIKM is still in the top 20 on HAC it's good to still support the song at HAC stations that are still playing it. |
