Just to follow up … I have talked with our promoters about this. It seems there is nothing that can be done to stop this awful opportunism, because there is no law against it. I understand representations have been made to the present government, but without any kind of success. Until there is a law against selling tickets for more than their face value, no action can be taken. It's appalling ….as are many other abuses currently going on unchecked … makes you dream of a Nanny State, doesn't it !! The man in the street is NOT being taken care of.

Apologies … I wish there was something I could do. But, since the seats sold out instantaneously, we will be looking into the possibility of adding an extra show.

The new video of Cuckoo with no mic..... I am in heaven once again. It's a psychological mind thing for me. I have heard/seen many videos of Adam performing in these intimate venues, with minimal amplification, and with no room amplification. I tell myself that this is all Adam... all his voice making this sound without any electronic assistance or enhancement. But, my reptile brain doesn't really comprehend. When I watched this video, where it is patently obvious it is nothing but Adam singing his face off, I was blown away. Where are those notes coming from?? Another singer would be standing up, gasping for breaths, scrunching their face and contorting themselves to sing those notes. Not Adam. He's just throwing out this little ditty for a few friends. And sounding fucking incredible. There is no denying the fact that he is an incredible singer.

Here's this cute guy with great hair casually sitting on a stool (with great posture). The guitar strums a few chords, and then POW! Out comes this voice! Clear, powerful, present, tripping effortlessly thru the words and melody. Embodying the song. Here is this artist, in his element, having great fun, interacting and sharing with his audience, loving every minute of it. Watching this video, it is clear that Adam is doing what he loves, what he is meant to do, and he is having the time of his life.

All concern about ticket sales, chart positions, promotion, global recognition, and radio spins falls away. I don't give a fuck. Just let this boy sang, and my world is perfect!

ETA: I also love seeing that little boy creep out, grin, and enjoy the music with abandon.
