It's not Adam's place to announce his Idol performance date. It's not the place of his management team, either. Shoshanna is doing what she is paid to do, be a professional. American Idol is announcing their guest performers, and that announcement has been coming out anywhere between a week to two weeks before the performers are scheduled to perform. They know, they just aren't saying when it is. We don't know everyone. Carrie's performance date hasn't been announced yet! So you are sure Adam knows? If Adam knows, and AI knows, are you saying that it hasn't been announced because there's still time for that? How long do we have for that two week deadline to expire, i.e. when will they HAVE TO announce it?? If Adam and Carrie are the only ones left unannounced, are there two possible dates for Adam then? If you know what they are, can you tell? : : : Yep, as sure as I can be since Adam hasn't talked to me directly. LOL  They could announce Adam's date at any time or they could wait until one week before. Carrie will probably be on the May 3rd show since that is the week her CD is released. Adam will probably be on the May 17th date. I'm pretty sure those are the only two open dates left. |

ITA, tigerlily!! American Idol is keeping all future appearances very close to the vest. They don't announce until the week before in most cases. This allows them to make the most of the current week without build-up for future weeks detracting from that. It's the show's prerogative to make all announcements, not that of the performer or their management.
OMG!! This is amazing!! It's Adam's backing tracks for "Kickin' In" stripped down and pushed forward, so you can hear how perfect his raw head voice (falsetto) is without the main track.
