ETA: Adam sounds eerily like Michael Jackson here. Maybe it has something with Adam being a tenor and MJ a high tenor so when Adam's voice is modified he sounds MJish? I'm probably just imagining things though it may just be studio effects Go listen to MJ's "Don't Stop Until You Get Enough", and tell me whatcha think! ;D

I believe Adam and Shoshanna aren't lying when they say they don't know ( Adam said he wasn't sure, she said her lips were sealed). Actually does this mean they don't know or something else? How come it's known when everyone else will be performing apart from Adam? If they do know, and they're keeping it a secret for some reason, it beats me what that reason might be. But, as I understand, not many dates are in game, so... Lol, Adam moves in mysterious ways :D Late, but I think they're keeping it a secret, because you know when Adam comes back to Idol, there's at least a week of media attention, from the time that's it's announced. It happens everytime. For everyone else...the media doesn't really care, lol.

idolator.com/6398292/adam-lambert-instinct-magazine#.T5cNAB7HJnE.twitterAdam Lambert Covers ‘Instinct’ Magazine, Talks ‘Trespassing’ With his Trespassing‘s release date quickly approaching (May 15, as if you didn’t already know), who better to grace the cover of Instinct magazine‘s May 2012 issue than Adam Lambert? The temporary Queen frontman looks sharp in his all-black ensemble for his shoot. Of his upcoming sophomore LP, the American Idol runner-up explained, “This is the kind of music I listen to. I know the style of vocal I have is kind of big. It has a certain edge to it. I’ve always loved rock, but I also love stuff that is more groove-based, more funky, more soulful, more dance music.

AARRRRGH! Why are her lips sealed? Why is everything with Adam treated like a military secret? We just want to know when he's going to perform on a frikkin' talent show; we're not asking what time the allies are invading Normandy! It's not Adam's place to announce his Idol performance date. It's not the place of his management team, either. Shoshanna is doing what she is paid to do, be a professional. American Idol is announcing their guest performers, and that announcement has been coming out anywhere between a week to two weeks before the performers are scheduled to perform. They know, they just aren't saying when it is. We don't know everyone. Carrie's performance date hasn't been announced yet! Hm...I'm not sure about that. The last two times Adam game on, when he mentored and when he sang Aftermath, I think Adam announced it before American Idol did. But someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

ITA, tigerlily!! American Idol is keeping all future appearances very close to the vest. They don't announce until the week before in most cases. This allows them to make the most of the current week without build-up for future weeks detracting from that. It's the show's prerogative to make all announcements, not that of the performer or their management. OMG!! This is amazing!! It's Adam's backing tracks for "Kickin' In" stripped down and pushed forward, so you can hear how perfect his raw head voice (falsetto) is without the main track. Cassie, looking forward to your thoughts!! I think it resembles Prince SO MUCH! I've been rummaging through his music, there are a couple of great ones where he uses his falsetto, the best for me being the unforgettable KISS (omg, love that one) , but here's this one for comparison: Listen to this gem: I think Adam would love this beat. When I heard it, it felt very 'adamesque' to me:))) Even the production seems similar.
