Why would the single come out after the album, strange !!!!!!!. Are they still banking on BTIKM still being played. This is not making sense RCA. Are they putting all the emphasis on the ALBUM? It is an extraordinary album... If so, it will be interesting to see what songs they perform in the next few weeks. NCOE needs official add date for next week. He needs adds ASAp and even then, no guarantee the stations will play immediately. they way the added BTIKM was measly and as we all know, many stations played it sporadically. Yes I think NCOE is better fit for radio but the song needs play time now

Is Idol on tonight and Queen performing with the remaining contestants? Sorry, I don't watch much TV...more like selective DVR gal :-) No Idol tonight, it's on on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Good! 'cuz I've got a tennis score to settle with my hubby tonight! Thank you for answering my silly question, Wal!

There is not a picture of Adam I don't like, some better than others maybe but I think the photographers were being creative on that third photo with the scarf. I took the photo and changed the height/width ratio to 98/100 and I think it looks more like him.

They are probably going to let it build on HAC. This tells me that for all our angst RCA is in no rush and is probably more focused on the long term success of the project. I think that rather than focusing on hugely inflated first week sales they are building towards a long term goal. I think that's pretty smart actually considering how many artists that have had huge first week sales have then had huge drop offs. Look at Gaga's album, even though it probably has sold well overall most of the general public saw the huge first week and then this huge drop off which the media reported on a lot. Madonna just had the same thing, huge first week and record setting second week drop. I'd much rather Adam have a decent first week and a perfectly average second week drop than to have the media banging on about a big drop off in sales. Over the last year are so there have been too many of these high debut big drop stories and I for one am not interested in seeing Adam in those ranks.

Wow, look at this. What an excellent review! Ugh, can't seem to embed. But it's a review from Rolling Stone. twitter.com/#!/lexiglam/status/194957115109023745/photo/1 This is pop music as simple arithmetic: A Bruno Mars tune plus Dr. Luke production plus an Adam Lambert vocal hit radio gold. “Never Close Our Eyes” is that calculated-right down to the lyric, which aims for the same party-at-the-edge-of-doom vive as recent smashes like “I Gotta Feeling” and “Till The World Ends.” (“Why can’t we just live life with no consequence/And Always live in the now?” Lambert sings.) But there’s no denying the pulsating electro drive of Luke’s beat, or the blustery power of the melody and lyrics. As for Lambert: The magnificence of his strident vocals defies all formula and precepts, mathematical and otherwise.[/b][/size] Love that quote

I would like to had adds for next week. so that stations can add and play the song, Then have his AI impression reach the 1 m mark minimum to make an impact on single sales. I would like to have familiarity of the song when he sings it on AI. Wasn't WWFM a hit before he sang it on AI and his single sales for the performance were hugh. He won't have super sales of NCOE if no one is familiar. Ok he will have sales but probably not as high as the song would be played on a regular basis. Just reaching here because I'm truly disappointed in an adds date for a month away.
