www.ew.com/ew/gallery/0,,20312226_20590155_21151072,00.html 'American Idol': Best/Worst Queen Performances Contenders have tackled the songs of Freddie Mercury and Co. frequently over the years -- for better (Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, and Co.) and worse (Todrick Hall, Kady Malloy); see what this season's Top 6 can learn from the past By MJ Santilli | Apr 25, 2012 BEST: Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, and season 8's top 13 Song: ''We Are the Champions'' Theme Week: Season finale, performed with Queen Maybe the best Idol Queen performance ever. Adam Lambert, Kris Allen, and the rest of the top 13 rocked it out with Queen, finale style. One highlight other than Adam's outrageous vocals — his outrageous outfit that boasted metal cage shoulder sleeves. as polite as they are being - this performance was all about Adam. Adam loved Kris a great deal at that time and was very supportive of him in the performance - which i find a delightful thing to do, but this was all Adam. (and really its not Kris' style of music anyway so he was valiant in doing his best for it) I. Love this photo. Look where Brian May's eyes are looking and at the look on his face.

OT question: The Instinct article on page 8 is too blurry for me to read. Is there a way of sharpening it? I tried to enlarge the version from the twitpics posted earlier but was also unsuccessful (no surprise, I'm a twit). Thanks!

And, oh my god, he is so ACCOUNTABLE! Augghh, doesn't it just make you love him even so much more!? I confess have it bad for Mr Lambert so I find I love his foibles as well - including his big spontaneous mouth. Strictly speaking it was a generalisation and nothing good comes of public generalisations and he knows that already. When he does that mea culpa thing I feel pleased. But yeah I haev it bad for this man, and i love him without reason. I flove him, too - for MANY reasons, actually. One is that I have such huge respect for him - period. As a person. Speaking just for me, I don't think he said anything that really required apology (he couched his answer with "some," after all, as has been pointed out). But, then, in retrospect, he still apologizes because he realizes some offense somewhere had been/could be caused. So he takes an even higher road, holds himself to a standard just a little higher. To me, Adam is not someone I'd ever think of describing as a "big . . . mouth." The connotations of that word don't fit him at all. He's effusive, I think - related to his "so what, I kiss and tell" philosophy, his "honesty is the best policy" policy not just because it's more "moral" or something (though I suppose it is) but because, also, it's just easier and secrets and facades and "spin" can be destructive. I think of "big mouths" as being hurtful and that Adam is the opposite of that. (I think, maybe he may have felt hurt by "cattiness," so he spoke about it - but realizing his words could be seen as "hurting back" - well, he went the MLK route!) His character is no less awesome, to me, than any other aspect of him - and it seems so perfect that it resides in someone with his talent and looks! (Had to get that out of my system, I guess - haven't ridiculously gushed on and on about Adam in a while!)

OT
To anyone I see tonight, I'm way WAY more shy in person than I am on Twitter/forums, so don't be too surprised if I don't talk much, lol.

Forgive my ignorance, for I have only found Adam within the year or so, and I am unfamiliar with the exact timing of things that happened before I was "born-again".
When did the night-time photo of him and Sauli about to kiss in Helsinki hit the media? Did the article not mention that Sauli was a celebrity? Did it not make the tabloids in the US? And when did those Tutkas air--the one where Katri talks about meeting Adam and Sauli says nothing, and then the one where Sauli jokes that Adam was only putting his hands over his ears in greeting. I am wondering what part of Sauli's reactions Adam was viewing. If you Ninja's knew the next day or so, how did it take Adam a week to find out?
I love this love story!

He had nothing to apologise about! And you are also right. He is NOT a big mouth. In fact that is a negative term which i was trying to use affectionately but it doesnt fit. Effusive is good. I like that. and spontaneous. and genuine.
