The best Freddy biographer says his usable range was 3-1/2 octaves -- C#2 - F5 but he could hit an F6. This documented with lot of videos. Freddy was a very accomplished musician and songwriter -- he wrote 10 of 16 songs on Queen's Greatest Hits including "Bohemian Rhapsody", "Killer Queen", "Somebody to Love", "We Are the Champions" and"Crazy Little Thing Called Love". Just carrying on with this discussion from yesterday, started by adamme  I'd say Adam has a good B♭2-B♭5, the G♯2 does sound like a full voice not but it's more of a short ad lib than singing, the B♭2s in Shady are good though cassie, I don't remember saying he went below B♭2 on Trespassing? The lowest I've heard was the Shady B♭2s, but maybe he explores his lower register a bit more in the parts of the album we haven't heard. As for Freddie, the C♯2 is a casually spoken fry note. How anyone could count that towards someone's vocal range is beyond me ??? Freddie's harmony F2s are good, the lead vocal F2 on Don't Try Suicide is a bit forced, but the A2s on I'm Going Slightly Mad are very good. As for the high notes, F5 in full voice, aswell as falsetto up to A5. So it's three octaves for Freddie and three octaves for Adam. But when I listen to Queen, Freddie very rarely sings outside the D3-D5 area. Adam could comfortably cover that range and then some at every GNT show. He won't be singing low harmonies at the Queen shows ;D so he has the range to tackle any Queen song thrown at him imo and that's what matters most I love this stuff! :D |

Is this the track from the Album? I thought someone put the snippets on repete and that was the only one I had heard before, but this seems like it might be from the Album. Goosebumps!!!! I think this is combined from the snippets. I can't wait for the actual song, this is so beautiful and emotional.  I can't believe how far some people are able to go... It makes me so sad that the person who added it to YT gets hate emails. This song should connect people, it's so beautiful and powerful and touching and instead of that they spit hate. Shame on them! ETA: I agree that maybe it would be better if she/he added the vid under the less confusing title but either way, hatred is not reasonable here and anywhere else when we talk about Adam... He's love on legs. |

I'm glad I don't see these things. To me, Adam looked happy in 2010, happy to be on tour, doing GNT, travelling the world. I agree. And also I don't remember such a video ??? Then we disagree on this one Gelly. All I will say is it would only be natural to be unhappy if you had some relationship troubles and he has talked about relationships since idol when he talks about chokehold. Not sure about that pap video might just have been him being unhappy with the paps, but i think someone made the comment that they thought he was crying. |

UNDERNEATH! OMFG. unbelievable. I have no words. the lyrics, the VOICE. that's my favorite adam. thank you soooo much for making my day. it's all good, but dancy/poppy adam is not my fave. this song makes me feel better (just for my personal taste). BO and Soaked are 2 faves from FYE. BO live at FS was a very moving experience for me. back to listen again. That song is incredible. I can't wait to see Adam sing it. yay! glad you liked it so much. I feel the same. |

I don't know if you're talking about the video I'm talking about I do remember this one vid where he was in his car and covered his face with his hands... I didn't like his poncho/long hair-style and to me he looked kind of unhappy also at that time. Then there was some interviews and red carpet pics and everybody said "no, he doesn't look sad at all! Can't you see how he's smiling?" but that whole thing just makes me think of Underneath: how sometimes you just have to put on a smile and fake it.
Adam looks great now and happy too. I love his laughter and energy. He also seems more comfortable and confident (I could be just imagining things of course.)

I mentioned that recently Adam started following him. He's a dancer / choreographer and he is working @ the Voice with Brian Friedman. I don't watch the Voice anymore, but would be great if Adam performs in their finale or something. He sings NCOE and then he and Chirstina jamming singing Crazy.. LOL |
