A couple of OT things, but I can't help myself. One thing led to the next... Last night at the correspondents dinner Jimmy Kimmel was wondering why in this day and age gays were being dissed - especially by a candidate who wears a sweater vest. Which made me think of GQ. And today GQ released their list of 30 best dressed Hollywood men under 30. Bruno Mars is #30, and his photo is very nice. It's the higher rated that bend my mind, and prompt this post... : : : living.msn.com/style-beauty/well-groomed-male/slideshow?cp-documentid=33226512#29None of them could hold Adam's and the only reason I don't care is that it said 30 under 30. ;D

I will say there were some ladies with black and yellow or black and gold on and it looked quite good. The only other concert I've ever worn anything "special' for (gliitter) besides Glam Nation was Lady Gaga! But there were people dressed special for Katy Perry's concert and PINK's when I went, especially Katy's What "theme" did people follow for the KP or Pink concerts. Other than Gaga or American Idol, I've never been to a concert where the audience dressed in colors or with a theme in mind. At Gaga's concert, several members from the younger crowd dressed as characters from her various videos. The costumes were very imaginative and some of them looked like they had been professionally made. Other than that, I can't think of any other concert I've been to where people dress in colors or themes. Used to go to J-rock concerts with my daughter. They was all you can imagine .

If this isn't the ultimate definition of a man who radiates joy and happiness I don't know what is. He probably enoyed Thursday night more than we did. That was my impression! He was so happy and excited for us to FINALLY hear his new music!

Even though we can only vote once he's way ahead. YAY!!!! I can vote an unlimited number of times in fact I've never yet been timed out. Are you sure it's counting? I voted several times by refreshing the page, but then I noticed that it was saying "Thank you, we already counted your vote" above the results. It feels as if it's taking your vote but apparently it's not.

The Bilerico Project - bilerico.com/2012/04/is_ada… www.bilerico.com/2012/04/is_adam_lambert_right_about_gay_pop_stars.phpIs Adam Lambert Right About Gay Pop Stars? In the latest Instinct magazine, Adam Lambert had something very interesting to say about gay music and pop stars. Adam said: "As a community, we're a little bit resistant to a gay male pop star ourselves. It's very easy for people to look at my origin, which is American Idol, and automatically assume that I'm a commercial sellout or a puppet or a flash in the pan. I don't think I'm any of those things. There's something weird there. We're very eager to celebrate a strong female. But to celebrate a fellow gay man - it gets catty sometimes." Actually, I think he's on to something. I often wonder why gay men love artist like Madonna, Gaga and Britney, but don't show the same type of love or fanaticism to actual gay music artists.
There are a lot gay music artists out there like: B. Slade, Ferras, Jay Brannan, Matt Morris, Sam Sparro, Nhojj, Theo Tams and Eric Himan. But, I'm not sure many gays really know about these talented artists. And that's another thing, these are talented artists. They don't wiggle in leather lingerie, lip-sync or look like citizens from the Capitol in The Hunger Games. These guys are legit. Adam, again, is making people think and question by expressing an opinion that others have not had the courage to voice out loud.

I would say half the audience, mostly girls, was dressed wild and over the top in Gaga style. (Maybe cause I am in LA?) At PINK, lots of PINK shirts, and hair dyed like hers & similar haircuts. At Katy's all kinds of things. Many colored wigs. Ice cream colored clothes, obvious tributes to CandyLand. IDK, maybe the LA crowd is freakier?

But then again I went with a big group of Drama Kids, so we dress up to go to Target.... ;D

It was a Gaga concert in The Midwest, I thought that was pretty good! lol And yes it was mostly younger girls who dressed in costume. Candyland for KP makes sense. Maybe concert goers don't dress up with a theme as much in the south or in the midwest. IDK. ???
