From twitter full cap of the casting call with the shoot date: http://i.imgur.com/M5lsV.png So they'll be shooting on May Day. Sort of fitting given the description of the shoot... in a neopagan post-apocalyprtic spring dance fest breaking away from the puritanical drones sort of way.... Or it this my insomnia talking? May Day is related to the Celtic festival of Beltane and the Germanic festival of Walpurgis Night. May Day falls exactly half a year from November 1, another cross-quarter day which is also associated with various northern European pagan and the year in the Northern hemisphere, and it has traditionally been an occasion for popular and often raucous celebrations. As Europe became Christianized the pagan holidays lost their religious character and either changed into popular secular celebrations, as with May Day, or were merged with or replaced by new Christian holidays as with Christmas, Easter, Pentecost and All Saint's Day. In the twentieth century, many neopagans began reconstructing the old traditions and celebrating May Day as a pagan religious festival again.
May Day was abolished and its celebration banned by puritan parliaments during the Interregnum, but reinstated with the restoration of Charles II in 1660

Does anybody know whether the number of singles from one studio album is limited? Or how many singles could Adam potentially release from Trespassing? Thanks in advance

I love the post apocalyptic vibe of the video. I hope it'll have a Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome feel to it. Can't you just imagine Adam in something like this by Gareth Pugh: I'm pretty sure the video will have a burning man vibe to it. ETA: ame I think artists usually release 3-4 singles. But Q3 would know best.

I tried to translate this page on Google. Finnish it talked reconnaissance flights and shooting - to me shooting has meant "shoot a gun" (camera filming). At first I thought that how the First of May is it related to war... Finally I will always understand more or less what text is about, but reading is fun and difficult at the same time. But I think I learned more each day.... I guess...

I am at complete and utter loss.
What's a drone?
Here are dictionary definitions: drone, noun drəʊn droʊn 1 [usually singular] a continuous low noise the distant drone of traffic 2 [usually singular] a continuous low sound made by some musical instruments, for example the bagpipes, over which other notes are played or sung; the part of the instrument that makes this noise 3 a male bee that does not work compare queen bee, worker 4 a person who is lazy and gives nothing to society while others work The medieval lord of the manor was what some today would call a drone. 5 an aircraft without a pilot, controlled from the ground
And here's an Urban Dictionary definition:
Slang term referring to the drug Mephedrone, currently experiencing an explosion of popularity in the UK.
I just don't get it. Also, those dancers/ dancing at IIHY, weren't they pagan, and how will this be different? Or, dancers at FYE, wasn't that kind of futuristic, or it was just kinky/sexy, idk.... and again, how will NCOE's dancers be different?
Having read yesterday's thread, where Adam was firmly established as an extraterrestrial life form ( DUH!), where youth elixir was found ( everyone's at their 30s, at least when radio requesting is concerned:))), I guess that today's apocalyptica is not too off the key. I love it, by the way. It would be great if today everyone chipped in with the most insane ideas for the NCOE video...
I most certainly will, as soon as I understand what they meant by saying :"everyone's a drone"
