2012-05 Promo Interviews and Performances

I just got home from KTUphoria. I'm absolutely deaf in my right ear.

I'm uploading my video now but it's gonna take about 2 1/2 hours to upload because its HD. My camera shut itself off when he was performing Cuckoo but, fortunately, I saw it and was able to capture the band intro and ending. I also caught the crazy fan he brought up on the stage.

It was very difficult taking the video because I'm kinda short and have bum shoulders so it was difficult to hold the camera over the heads of the girls in front of me. Every time the camera catches the tops of their head or their waving arms, it goes out of focus. (My shaky hands, of course, had absolutely nothing to do with it!!!!)

Once again, every act had major sound issues. Poor K'Naan changed the song he was going to sing because of it and apologized to the audience. Other artists apologized too.

Adam was in full voice tonight even though at times he couldn't be heard over the band. Such a shame. I was lucky enough to be close enough that I could hear his voice before it hit the mike. I'm not a singer, but I do believe the backup singers are off, a lot. I hope they get that straightened out, soon.

I hope the video isn't a total waste. I haven't even reviewed it yet because I wanted to get the upload started for y'all.

Oh, just a personal opinion here, Adam needs to each a sandwich. He's very, very thin.

Why do they keep ending "Cuckoo" so abruptly. They get the audience to participate and then they just. stop.

Yes, I did have fun but taking video and trying to watch Adam is very difficult. I have taken video at each concert I've attended and I hate watching it through the camera. Tonight I tried to keep the camera on him while I watched live because I was so close. I give a lot of credit to the fans who bring us such fantastic videos from the concerts. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'll bet the ustream you watched is probably clearer than what I'm uploading. But I tried.

I really, really enjoyed Adam tonight. He was firing on all cylinders tonight and was having fun. He appeared early so the place wasn't full yet but the crowd definitely was with him all the way. He brought up a fan during Cuckoo because she kept screaming at him during her M&G and told the audience that this bitch was crazy. It was a fun moment for her and for Adam, he really enjoyed it. Yes, a lot of people left after Adam finished.

I stayed until after Enrique Inglesia finished. I was getting really claustrophic by that point because the security team was not keeping the aisles open down near the stage and the girls in front of me were now standing on their seats and I couldn't see a thing. The place was packed for these later acts. I've seen Pitpull perform--not worth fighting the crowds for.

Someone mentioned that they thought Adam et al would be staying in NYC tonight. I would think since PCN is already about halfway to Philadephelphia from NYC that they would probably go there tonight. Just a thought.

I returned from KTUforia a couple of hours ago and my ears are still ringing...
Adam was the first artist that the whole arena stood for. When his name was announced it was beautiful to see everyone standing up. His set was phenomenal, high energy and everyone was dancing and waving. He did a set of 7 songs: TSP, Kickin In, NL, WWFM, NCOE & Cuckoo (I don't remember hearing Shady and I might be missing a song).
It was really funny when the crazy girl was on the stage and he sang cuckoo to her changing the lyrics to: I think she is having a meltdown....
Teen girls around us were dancing like crazy during his set and the security let a few little girls move to the rails so they will be able to see
It seems that he started a new trend as Karmin introduced the band and I heard that no one did that before...
Didn't stay after Adam's set and I was not the only one going out....

Looking at the stunning pics wal brought over I keep thinking that Adam can't be real. He is so good looking, but it is much more than that. He exudes joy! Fierceness! Frivolity! Energy!

These pictures look like stills from a movie about a pop star. Then, add the vocal talent, technique, versatility and nuance and it is difficult to believe it all comes in the same package. I've said it before. It is like a remake of "A Star is Born" with a male lead instead of a female. The only thing is, Hollywood would have to get the charismatic, gorgeous, sexy actor and then dub in the vocals, cuz no actor could sing like that, and no singer could look and act like that.

On top of all that deliciousness, I want to add that Mr Lambert is in my view, at his core, a wise old advanced soul. And i dont see that many in showbusiness - not Elvis, MJ or Freddy.

If someone asked me why Im saying that if he does things like tackle his man to the ground on the ice, I would say I can feel it from his presence - even across pixels three thousand miles away. Who said evolved people are perfect. Adam is grappling with some issues like every single person on planet earth be it love or fame or acceptance.

But there is something in his eyes and his energy. When I first saw him - a pic of him - I thought if souls are flames, I think I'm looking at a supernova.

And overtime, if given the chance on planet earth, he will express and express, and everyone he touches will be changed by it.
