I wouldn't be surprised if that song sticks around for awhile...radio or no radio. I have great faith in the longevity of BTIKM. I might be alone but I'm still cheering it on!  Can someone educate me about this chart? Is this a sample of few selected countries from Europe, Asia, etc. or an actual inclusive world-wide Top 40 chart? And, how can we find out where the majority of spins come from? 'cuz obviously, ain't from North America... ??? I too don't really know the credibility of this chart or where it pulls numbers from. |

anjalee have none of us been a woman in a man's world or fat in a skinny world or old in a young world or black in a white world or muslim in a christian world. Empathy does not require that we be gay in a straight world to understand, only that we reach out and share the experience so that we can understand each other. No one gets a pass on that. Shit. sqquuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeeeee husby like the whole album. he loves the range in his voice, the emotion of the songs, the song writing. just every little thing about it. :D *does happy dance.*

I'm posting this here because I know a couple of the commenters go here. To those leaving comments on The Village Voice article saying "Why does it matter if he's gay?" Firstly, do you even know what The Village Voice is? Secondly, that 5-page article off the back of the release of his album is major promo in NYC. Please stop telling publications with large gay readerships that it doesn't matter if Adam is gay. It DOES matter to those of us in the gay community. A huge amount as it happens. To have an out mainstream artist like him is incredibly important and to have a publication like the Village Voice on side is a major coup. Those comments you people leave places are insulting beyond belief to both us and to Adam. I imagine this will be the last comment I leave before I get banned for posting this but hopefully some of you will think before you post in future. I realize this does not apply to everyone here by all means by the way but there are people here are repeat offenders on this front. I happened to know the Village's a gay website, because I remembered that this webiste was not supporting Adam when he just got off of Idol. Wasn't Aaron Hicklin used to be with the Village? Anyway, that was in the past. I'm so glad that they're supporting Adam now. And We usually tried not to touch or leave any comment for any article on the gay websites, and to leave it to the members of the community. I read the beginning of the comments, and I know most of the name are not from our sites. And I know particularly who said that "doesn't matter whether he is gay or not". And I definitely will forward this article to my gay friend so he will buy the album. He loves JLo's music but not Adam??? It's time for him to make the statement and support Adam. ;D |
