You know what, I really held it together about asking for a pm with the dl link. I figured I'm ordering a cd or two to get all the bonus tracks, instead of simply downloading from itunes, and can wait for the release date.
But fuck it, who else is about instant gratification? If a kind soul can send me, that'd be great, ever in your gratitude, etc.
I really hope he gets 100,000 the first week. But I'm hoping somewhere between 50-75 the first week is still respectable, as long as it remains in the Billboard top 20 for a little while.

 OMGZ! Went to bed at 1.30am on page 12 and have only just got to page 36 where I jumped ahead and posted goodnight to everyone. But now the thread is at 86 pages. ATOP - you'se guise are freaking incredible. WOW, what a love fest and so many people helping each other out ( reihmer I see you being an incredible busy bee  ) Just want to give y'all a.... GREAT BIG GROUP HUG!!!! And double WOW to this incredible fuckin album. The breadth of this man's talent leaves me speechless. For so many years his wings have been clipped and now he is soaring into the stratosphere. Methinks his incredible journey so far is just the beginning. Amen sistah.  can.not.stop.playing.runninI iz mezmerized  But, the rest are pretty damn fine too   See you all in a while - if I ever catch up that is *goes back to page 36*

I'm posting this here because I know a couple of the commenters go here. To those leaving comments on The Village Voice article saying "Why does it matter if he's gay?" Firstly, do you even know what The Village Voice is? Secondly, that 5-page article off the back of the release of his album is major promo in NYC. Please stop telling publications with large gay readerships that it doesn't matter if Adam is gay. It DOES matter to those of us in the gay community. A huge amount as it happens. To have an out mainstream artist like him is incredibly important and to have a publication like the Village Voice on side is a major coup. Those comments you people leave places are insulting beyond belief to both us and to Adam. I imagine this will be the last comment I leave before I get banned for posting this but hopefully some of you will think before you post in future. I realize this does not apply to everyone here by all means by the way but there are people here are repeat offenders on this front. Good post but please don't say I was insulted. They were only trying to help, they just missed the point a bit. You're a sweetie, you know that? |
