I could call this 'my altar'. I also display a book of photos of Adam that was sent to me by another 'Topian'; as well as a lovely card from my Kindred Spirit, who I met at a GNL Costa Mesa concert in 2010; photos of my DH and my son - both of whom look amazingly like AFL! - and a printout of the certificate I earned from the website 'After Elton', when I scored 100 out of 100 in the "How Well Do You Know Adam Lambert" quiz!

I like the angel pic. My DH actually made it. It's my avi too.  Ooooh thelambertluvva, tell your DH he is one very talented guy. I love the white and blue and the pose - of course - is perfection ;D ;D ;D I was constructing my post and waxing profound about Adam's wings being clipped and knew I had seen an image ~somewhere that I have always loved. I did a google search for Adam Lambert + angel and this was one of the one's that popped up. I thought yay, that's the one I was thinking of, so I mean it as a huge compliment. As soon as you posted and I saw your avi, it all clicked into place, although I didn't realise your DH was the creator. Give him a hug and a pat on the back from me Gawd, I've finally caught up again to where I last posted and the thread has moved another 11 pages since then.... it's never ending I tell ya #exhaustedbutinagoodway  *goes back to finish of thread* Hi, Catzmadam, it's so nice to meet you. I just told DH what you said and he was very flattered. It's funny, I used to be on Adam Official, and had posted the pic there, and after that I would see other people using the pic on various websites and as for avis. Even Steven Fudd (one of the Adam fans chosen for Rockstar Weekly Adam fan magazine) was using it on his Ning website and when I told him my DH had created it, he said it was one of his favorite pictures of him. Thanks for bringing back old memories. Anyway, I see you are from New Zealand. I am in love with your country. I went there for my first time last year because I wanted to go somewhere where they loved Adam. Unfortunately, I wasn't seeing the Adam love. I didn't hear him on the radio, didn't see him in magazines or billboards. The most I saw was one Glam Nation DVD in a gas station. Finally on my last day, I asked the camp host at the campsite where I was staying (I traveled by camper van) about Adam. She said he was huge there!!!! She said I also needed to listen to another station. Anyway, hope to go there again within the next couple of years. PM me any time if you want to know more of what we did in NZ. The country was gorgeous and it was the best vacation we've ever had. |
