I have to agree with you on most of your points, but every attacked minority need to remember not to anatgonize people who may be a little ignorant but want to help and want to understand. Never allow the pain to override things - it's easy but it is the way to nowhere. I know something about it. I learned the hard way I understand that you are trying to help and want to help. The thing you have to understand is that sometimes that help can come over as extremely patronizing to an attacked minority even though you don't mean it to be. In terms of Adam being spoken about as a gay artist, it is very different when it is a mainstream publication such as, say, EW talking about his sexuality over his music and making a big deal out of it. Then by all means point out that it should be all about the music instead of banging on about his sexuality all the time. However when it is a gay publication, or one such as the VV with such a large gay readership, then the connotation of him being spoken about as a gay artist changes entirely. Telling a writer and the readership of any gay or gay friendly publication that him being gay does not matter is tactless and hurtful because in this circumstance and to the gay community it does matter that he is gay. As someone said above, showing support for and being an ally of an attacked minority is a wonderful thing and working alongside the community for equality and setting straight those that spew hate is very much appreciated and the right thing to do. But that is where it should stop to be honest. To put it simply, gay people do not appreciate being told by straight people how they should feel regarding things that involve our community any more than most women appreciate being told how to feel by men about issues pertinent to women. If you are in doubt at all then either don't comment on an article or just say how much you like the music and leave it at that. Bingo, bango - boy, that's well-said.

I'm not an expert on music, but please let me express my immediate feelings after the first hearing of Adam's masterpiece: It's simply subjective point of view, so please, don't get upset.... The songs are lined up from 'the best' to 'the worst'( though, not a single song is bad there ) 1. Runnin'- OMG, that song is wonderful. After hearing of the snippet I expected something beautiful but not so epic Adam's deep voice is so f*cking sexy 2. Underneath - this song is magical, though I can't identify myself with a very few parts of the song but I'm not saying that I cannot change my mind... 3. Nirvana - simply gorgeous, nothing else left to say, pure love 4. Shady - yay, the collab with Nile Rodgers was a great idea 5. Chokehold - awesome, love hidden meaning behind the song 6. Naked love - my absolute darling, sexy, hot, summer, energy bomb 7. Outlaws of love - amazing but I like it better live 8. Broken English - awww, makes me think of A&S's lovestory 9. Take back - good, that song has balls 10. Cuckoo- gorgeous, just cuckoo, extraordinary interesting unique melody with suitable lyrics 11. Kickin in- not my favourite but nothing has been decided yet 12. Pop that lock - not my cup of tea at all you never know what future brings... BTIKM also would be somewhere in the first half and NCOE somewhere between Naked love and Take back. ETA: When you need much energy for activities like studying, this album is the right thing for you!!!! So I'm going to continue....

There is no way to read this entire thread and welcome all who jumped on board (and all the way from Madagascar too--how honored I feel). I hope you guys continue to post and know this really is a wonderful place! I also hope I didn't miss anything else important. Please Cassie, make sure to re-post all your vocal assessments where we can find them another day!

Hi, I’m new here (well, I’ve been lurking around for a while, but I this is my first comment . I apologize, this post is going to be a little longer, but I would like to introduce myself. I’m from the Czech Republic and I became Adam’s fan last year in November (after I saw his performance with Queen at EMA - an amazing performance!). Since then I love not only Adam’s outstanding, beautiful voice, but I admire his personality as well. He is exceptional in so many ways... beautiful, talented, intelligent and still very nice and humble. And I have to say, the more I know about him, the more I admire the man. As other Adam’s fans I’ve been looking forward to Adam’s new album and I was happy seeing an email from Adam Lambert Global Store about Trespassing being shipped a few days ago. Anyway, I couldn’t resist the opportunity to listen it today. And... I LOVE it so much! I knew it would be great! But... Trespassing surpassed all my expectations! I love, love, love every single song of the album! I loved them before (listening to the snippets). But when I listen to the whole songs, they sound even so much better. I can’t say which of the songs is my favorite - it’s impossible to choose one of them. Shady, Kickin in, Underneath, OOL, Broken English... they are all totally AWESOME! There is one song that surprised me a lot today - Runnin. I loved the snippet of it. But when I listen to it today - it sounds so different - it bows me away. Adam just never ceases to amaze me! Kudos Adam! You are the best!
