Don't know if yall were counting, but I saw at least 5 new male members begging requesting the d/l. Hope some of these guys hang around like nationalglampoon and mika and kriptoman. Where is Mika and Lifeguard? Mika flailed with us last night on the old thread  |

I think Adam has invented an new kind of roller coaster -- this album. But the bonus tracks should just be mandatory!! I wonder about the rest of the songs that don't make the album. They're on the shelf right now and Adam said that would be great if other singers interested to use them. But then again, he wrote the songs based on his vocal range, now WHO other singers can sing his songs???? {I know they probably will have to tweak it and make some adjustment  } |

I must admit that I didn't expect to like all of the songs. Didn't care for a few on FYE. Surprise to me - I love every single song! Not only there are NO FILLERS, the BONUS TRACKS that are usually supposed to be an afterthought are as good, if not better (Runnin, anyone?) than the rest, and feel like an integral part of the concept, ending in Nirvana.  WHO ELSE DOES THAT? ??? Ditto.......some place a bizillion pages back someone thought of a Kara Dioguardi quote regarding who can hit those notes......same thought only in reference to WHO THE HELL CAN NOT HAVE AN ALBUM WITH NO FILLERS????????? The one and only AFL!!!!!!! I need this CD NOW so I can play it while in the pool exercising and not sitting in my desk chair all day while my ass just gets bigger  (Whoops.....can I say ass? 8-)) |

If others record some of the other stuff, sure it won't be as "Adam" and as ..........................words fail: great, progressive, new, hot, stunning.................take your pick. |

OK, so I promised myself I would never post on another fan board, but honestly, I have to share with you guys. Listened to the whole CD...listened all day long...walked 4 miles listening to it...it's AMAZING. I must admit to some very strong doubts, especially since he took so long to get the album out. Please, Universe, forgive me for EVER doubting. I am SO sorry. There is not one track I would erase on my iPhone, which is extremely rare for me considering all the 100's of albums I have owned past and present. Also, it plays perfectly top to bottom...no need to put it on shuffle which I do with most of my music. His words are powerful enough, but the emotion in his voice combined with the lyrics just blow me away. OK, just had to get that out. Sorry, I've forgotten how to get an avi, etc. I'll try to get up to speed soon. Wish you lived near me, you are a wonderful influence. Walking and listening at the same time :D Guess I need to upload to my iPod, are they water proof? |
