I love spoilers so much, I sometimes read the end of books first! My goal is to try and read the last chapter on my kindle first. Can't figure out how to do that yet.

Ignore my post, good for you, you checked in! How does it feel to be a grown man and still have to account for your whereabouts? I will never go so far as to ask if you brushed before bed though I love, love your pics! Sometimes I may appear to be here when it's only in spirit. While traveling I log in via iPhone poised to type something, get distracted or exasperated by tiny buttons and never bother to log out so if you yell at me and I don't yell back, that's the deal. Last night was my first night back. Glad to be home and I will brush, i promise.

This is soooo weird. I like to read the end of books first too. I also like to know the endings of movies. Never, in my entire life, have I found a friend like this. And now, within minutes, 4 of us have said the same thing!

love spoilers too. that's what the internet is all about. instant info. It always fascinates me to see how people are so different. Sure, I like breaking news, but to have the plot of a show I plan to watch revealed ahead of time? Nope. I don't even like to read the blurb about a book I'm interested in. I just take in the first few sentences and stop there. :D HaHa, I'm always reading the last chapter of a book first ;D ;D And Mika, WTF, jeeze that song's got some deep lyrics :

I do love another Alison for collaberation....Alison Krauss......who has a lovely voice, and I think she would be able to match Adam vocally. She has won many grammys and is a very gifted songwriter. I still play her album with Robert Plant a lot.

I like all of these suggestions, especially the first two (though I think Pink may be a little too similar vocally--it seems like radio thinks opposites attract). Can't get excited about a Mars or Kesha collab, although I can see how the Mars collab could be a marketing win. Along these lines, though, B.O.B has been collab-gold this past year, so that might be an interesting mix for Adam. Don't think this will be a popular suggestion so I make it somewhat meekly, but I think there could be a totally sexy Rihanna collaboration--something about my imagined appearance of the two of them together, tall and a little androgynous and all long long legs and powerful, spikey shoulder pads, maybe even sporting the same the same androgynous hair do, lol, feels like it would present an new kind of sexy to the pop world, one where sexy is sexy and gender is bendy and masculine and feminine mix, and i think it could be really hot. Plus we know Adam likes her. Finally, of all the acts Adam has introduced me to, I've fallen for the Scissor Sisters the hardest--I love their music--and I think that would be a terrific, if less market-friendly, collaboration. I really like rabbitrabbit's list. I would be happy with any one of them. MWP, I know that not everyone here is enthusiastic about Rihanna, but I like her. She's got the drive, the attitude and the 'sex is not the enemy' message that would mesh with Adam really well. I also like her voice and her songs have great hooks. Another thing I like about her that her songs are clearly meant for adults and have more complex - even darker themes. She is also current and gets radio play. I also like the Scissor Sisters. A collaboration with them would be fun. Ooh... lot's of interesting ideas (and for myself, I don't care either way if Adam has vocal collaborators or not, I trust that he will make the decisions on a case by case basis in a way that best serves the music and his needs). I too think Rihanna and Adam would look great in a video together, and she could be an interesting "featuring" artist with a small enough role that should could be replaced w/ another backup singer on tour. midwivespal - I'll happily trade Bruno for BOB. Also like songwriting w/ the Scissor sisters, Bowie, Prince, and singing or writing with Justin Timberlake would be magic. Vocally Fergie, Paramore X-tina, Skylar Grey (sounds similar to Christina Perri) in bit parts could possibly work. As somebody mentioned, big stars aren't likely to collaborate w/ Adam from a business POV, but for some reason I can totally picture Adam and Kesha having a blast writing a song that he brings emotional depth and vocal richness to, and she brings a giddy, happy lyrical playfulness to and a killer hook (I've had that earworm "This joint's about to Blo-oh-oh-oh-a-oh-oh-oh in my head all day from accidentally hearing it on the radio). ETA: And since as elizalynn points out, Adam knows a heck of a lot more about music and who is new, interesting, and just starting to break or unknown than we do, I look forward to surprises even more than anyone we've thrown out in our brainstorming.

I could see Adam and Rhianna together too. She's with RCA, I think?
