Stealing this from Chunkey's site. Octavia, who mentioned on Facebook that she is making an effort to lose weight because she was “physically unable to do what was asked of me and it wasn’t much” and that it was work-related. She added “I guess I had to have a dream put in my hands and then snatched away in order for me to wake up.”It goes on to say that she is trying to get healthy. Sounds like she is in a good place and doing what she needs to do. Thanks for the answer. Wishing her health and happiness! |

RUNNIN!!!--What an overwhelmingly pleasant surprise!! Has any other artist ever released a bonus track as a single? It would be such a shame for the general public to not hear this song! I think it is great single material. Why was it relegated to a bonus track? Thoughts anyone? Because of the music genre. The album is mostly dance, electronic, funk, or new-wavey, and atmospheric. Runnin, while sounding a bit tribal, and while not quite lite rock as in Take Back, it is more in the pop-rock vein, and it is a glaring difference to the rest of the songs that made it into the standard part of the album. It would have made the album not as cohesive, imo. But after saying that, I do love the song. It's kind of my favorite, in a 14-way tie ;D ITA I love Runnin' but it wouldn't have fit the flow of the rest of the album. I actually wouldn't change anything about the progression of songs on the album. It seems really cohesive and well thought out. |

iilove, the lines you love, from the lyrics notes are, "I'm coming alive" Yes, that is my favorite part too! I also love the passion in the line "I've been standing here my whole life" I'm kind of obsessed with this song. :-/ Oh thanks for the correction. And I love that line as well. This song is just THE ONE!!! I was thinking since it couldn't be a single, maybe Adam could sing it in Grammy along with other selected songs? I just want the world to hear this song! and make their faces crack :  |

I love that he doesn't accept anything less then perfection from himself...even though the wait for the product from that said perfection is a pain in the ass... : ETA: Ohh Runnin came up on playlist. Once it´s out somewhere, it´s out, but if I understood it correctly - there were streams for music journalists, bloggers and preview albums sent out - for example Lindsey Parker got one. And the main media outlets will review on the official release date. ETA: If reviews like that keep rolling in I desperately need a happy tears smiley to express myself - just putting it out there.........
