RUNNIN!!!--What an overwhelmingly pleasant surprise!! Has any other artist ever released a bonus track as a single? It would be such a shame for the general public to not hear this song! I think it is great single material. Why was it relegated to a bonus track? Thoughts anyone? Because of the music genre. The album is mostly dance, electronic, funk, or new-wavey, and atmospheric. Runnin, while sounding a bit tribal, and while not quite lite rock as in Take Back, it is more in the pop-rock vein, and it is a glaring difference to the rest of the songs that made it into the standard part of the album. It would have made the album not as cohesive, imo. But after saying that, I do love the song. It's kind of my favorite, in a 14-way tie ;D haha love that 14-way tie. good point in a way. sonically its sort of in a different space. I like your word "tribal". But its so awesome and so from his heart that in a way its like the secret heart of the album handed casually to you as a bonus track. My hearts beating faster I know what Im after I've been standing here my whole life everything i've seen twice now its time I realised Saving me cos Im falling I cant seem to breath right I'm coming alive. *** Surrender and coming alive. That to me is the heart of Adam's motion in the world and why i find him so inspiring.

Gelikins You're welcome! I can't stop listening to Runnin. When he screams "I'll wake up now and live" I burst in tears every time .... Runnin' is just epic. I can't even describe just how massive, epic, and glorious it sounds. It's real "on top of the world" music and a pinnacle of the pop-rock genre for me. 2:31 just makes my spine seize up and cold sweats go all through me. It's a masterpiece :'( Did I mention I like it?

I can't get any of the streams to play. My browser is Firefox. So I don't know what is wrong with my computer. I'm able to use the French site (Page 16), but had to click on the first song to get it started. There is a bunch of other stuff they want you to click on. Once it starts, it plays all the songs. I'm using Internet Explorer.

Hmm..I'm not sure if that NyDailyNews review is high praise or not. A bit confused regarding the last paragraph... I took Jim Farber's comments as the highest praise. Adam has already achieved his liberation. He has walked his walk and attained his freedom. There's been a lot of pain and hard work, but he has done it successfully. No one can take his freedom from him again (no government, no church, no person). You can see it when he opens his mouth to sing or when he appears at an interview. This man is golden and just shines with success. Love this.
