Aw, mehitabel, I have faith. People were able to "get" Adele. They will be able to "get" Trespassing. The biggest obstacle, in my opinion, is exposure. But, hopefully, with good reviews and good promo ( and, fingers crossed, radio coming through) Trespassing will get the exposure it needs and deserves.

Okay, so I had to de-lurk and register/post today. It is a monumental moment!! I had come across this site a few months ago, even though I have been an avid, (understatement!!), adam supporter since Idol. I always check here to catch up on news and read the wonderful, insightful posts by everyone. I JUST RECEIVED MY TRESPASSING BOX SET TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE MAN AND THE MUSIC ARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe it is here early, as I have had some trouble getting stuff from AO before, especially on-time. However they have changed things this year, they are on-the-ball with sending out the stuff!! Listening to the CD and can't believe I have this HOT BABY in my hands now!!  |

If you guys aren't listening to the AO stream because you already have it DLed somewhere, DO IT!!! This is a HQ stream! Adam's vocals are even better & more front and center than what we got on the DLs!    Where's the stream? |

Long time lurker here finally chiming in to say hello to all of the Adam fans. I haven't listened to the album download as I don't want to spoil what will be a tremendously exciting and special day dedicated entirely to Adam and his album when I receive it. It will be a day of celebration for me. Long awaited. I certainly am enjoying reading everyone's responses to what they have heard though!   |

OMG ! My sister just left for a 3 weeks vacation/business trip to Taiwan & China. Should I ask her to buy this version for me ? She's been teasing for being a fan after a young pop artist, so I may not want to ask her. :( |

You know how sometimes the most obvious is the thing you don't see? I was driving to an appointment today and I had the radio on the most popular LA fm station - the usual stuff playing. Then waiting in the lobby I was listening to my mp3's (Runnin' !!!!!) for the thousandth time and suddenly the light goes off - the difference between the usual and Trespassing - Trespassing is for grownups and a lot of people will never get it. The music, lyrics, presentation - it's just not going to be appreciated, ever, by so many people - and that is soooo, soooo bad for them. Why did I not see this sooner? IA. I was thinking this same thing earlier. With the exception of Naked Love and NCOE, the album sounds really grown up. Doesn't sound like your typical, frothy, bubblegum, sweet pop.And I'm not dissing those two above songs, I really love them, but those do sound sweet, young and fun. The other songs sounds fun, but the lyrics and melodies lends them to sound more adult. Like one of the reviews said, (paraphrasing) but it said something like, that if you like your pop music to hit hard, you'll like Trespassing. Or as Adam said "Existential Pop" I totally get it now and he was SO right. |
